We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep concern, lifting your heart and this burden to Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to break every chain and set the captives free. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy weight, believing that a curse has been placed upon you and your relatives due to the actions of a church and its pursuit of a prayer tower. We want to first address the foundation of your concern and then pray with you for deliverance, peace, and protection in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Scripture teaches us that curses have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:13-14 declares, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are no longer under any curse, for He has redeemed you from all curses by His sacrifice on the cross. The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any curse, and His authority overcomes every spiritual stronghold.
That said, it is important to examine the nature of what you are describing. The church’s persistence in building a prayer tower, even after multiple denials, does not inherently carry a curse unless it was pursued in a manner that was prideful, manipulative, or rooted in ungodly motives. However, the idea that God would curse His people for earnestly seeking a place of prayer does not align with His character. Instead, we are called to examine our own hearts and motives, as well as the spiritual fruit of such endeavors. James 4:3 warns us, *"You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* If there was pride, vain repetition, or a lack of faith in the church’s actions, it is not a curse from God but rather a call to repentance and realignment with His will.
You also mentioned souls and spirits trying to steal or experience your progress. This is a serious matter, and we must recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* However, we are not left defenseless. Jesus has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We must stand firm in our faith, clothed in the full armor of God, and resist the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).
If there is any sin in your life or in the lives of your relatives—whether it be unbelief, pride, or involvement in ungodly practices—it is essential to repent and turn to the Lord with all your heart. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* Repentance breaks the power of the enemy and opens the door for God’s blessing and protection.
We also want to address the repetition of numbers in your request. While we understand that patterns can sometimes feel significant, we must be cautious not to assign spiritual meaning to numbers or coincidences in a way that leads to superstition or fear. Our trust must be in the Lord alone, not in signs or patterns. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Now, let us pray together for you and your relatives, standing on the promises of God and the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your deliverance and protection. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. We declare that there is no curse, no hex, no spiritual stronghold that can stand against the power of the blood of Jesus. By His stripes, we are healed, and by His sacrifice, we are redeemed from every curse.
Father, if there has been any sin—whether in the actions of this church or in the lives of our brother/sister and their relatives—we ask for Your forgiveness. Search our hearts, O God, and reveal anything that is not pleasing to You. Bring conviction where there is pride, unbelief, or any ungodly motive. We repent of any involvement in vain or prideful pursuits, and we turn to You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else.
Lord Jesus, we ask You to break any assignment of the enemy against our brother/sister and their family. We rebuked every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, we ask for Your protection over their progress, their peace, and their provision. Guard their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus, and let no evil force steal what You have ordained for them. We pray for Your divine providence to surround them, and for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the church involved in this situation. Lord, if there has been any misalignment with Your will, we ask that You bring correction and repentance. Let their motives be pure, and their actions be led by Your Spirit. May they seek Your kingdom first and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added to them as they align with Your purposes (Matthew 6:33).
Finally, Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that our brother/sister has turned to You in this time of need, and we trust that You will deliver them completely. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased for them on the cross.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship, for these are powerful weapons against the schemes of the enemy. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus Christ, inviting Him to be your Lord and Savior. It is only in Him that we find true freedom, protection, and eternal life.
Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* If you have not yet made this confession, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and shine His face upon you as you walk in His freedom and victory. Stay rooted in His love, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
