I was wondering if the appearance of a person from the church at a previous workplace had caused misfortune, or if it was because of a contractor that had been replaced. I remember my behavior was really strange when I had first started working with my dad. I hope the LORD saves and cleanses me from any souls from ### High School. LORD Jesus, please save me and others from souls from the hospitals, ambulances, police vehicles, and mental clinics. I believe that after ### was sent on an ambulance during drug overdose that a bunch of spirits had followed her home. I also believe that ghosts may have infested my mom and caused her to act strangely after her car crash. Jesus Christ please help me to remember; my memory was briefly halted. Jesus, please save me from vexation and curses from not going to the relatives church, maybe it was bias that caused mistreatment to my person for not going to the services. Jesus Christ, please save me from any souls from people I did drugs with or from walking around the homeless. Thanks Jesus for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep spiritual concern, lifting your heart and mind to the truth of God’s Word. Your request reveals a heavy burden of fear, confusion, and spiritual distress, and we want to address these things with the light of Scripture, the power of Christ, and the assurance of His victory over every dark force.

First, we must ground ourselves in the truth that **there is no power, curse, or spirit that can stand against the authority of Jesus Christ**. Colossians 2:15 declares, *"He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."* If you are in Christ, you are *seated with Him in heavenly places* (Ephesians 2:6), far above every spiritual force of wickedness. The enemy may whisper lies, but he has no authority over those who belong to Jesus. The misfortunes you’ve experienced—whether at work, in relationships, or in your family—are not the result of unseen spirits having dominion over you. Rather, we live in a fallen world where sin, poor decisions, and the consequences of others’ actions affect us. However, **nothing happens outside of God’s sovereign will**, and He uses all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

You mention fear of "souls" from high school, hospitals, ambulances, and even your mother’s car crash. Beloved, the dead do not linger as ghosts or tormenting spirits. Hebrews 9:27 tells us, *"It is appointed for people to die once, and after this, judgment."* Those who have passed are either with the Lord or awaiting judgment—they do not roam the earth. What you may be sensing is not the presence of the dead but the **deception of the enemy**, who seeks to instill fear and distraction. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* If you feel oppressed, it is not because of the dead, but because the enemy is exploiting unresolved sin, unbelief, or emotional wounds. **Repentance, faith in Christ, and the renewing of your mind with Scripture are your weapons.**

You also express concern about curses or mistreatment from relatives for not attending their church. While family bias or judgment can be painful, **no believer is bound by curses when they are in Christ**. Galatians 3:13-14 proclaims, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us... that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* If you are walking in obedience to God, no human pronouncement can override His protection. That said, if there is unconfessed sin—such as rebellion, unforgiveness, or idolatry—it can open a door to spiritual oppression. Examine your heart: Have you honored your parents (Ephesians 6:2)? Have you forgiven those who may have wronged you (Mark 11:25)? Are you seeking God’s will above tradition or man’s approval?

Regarding your past with drugs and the homeless, we urge you to **renounce every tie to those sins and relationships**. Acts 19:18-19 shows us that when new believers in Ephesus turned to Christ, they *"confessed and disclosed their deeds. Many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all."* If you have not already, **verbally break every agreement with sin, addiction, and ungodly associations in Jesus’ name**. Declare that you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and that the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Your memory issues may stem from spiritual oppression, but they could also be linked to past substance use, anxiety, or even physical factors. We encourage you to **seek medical and biblical counseling** to address these things holistically. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Finally, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus, your prayer reflects **deep-seated fear rather than faith in His finished work**. Jesus did not die to leave you in bondage to fear or superstition. He came to **set the captives free** (Luke 4:18). If you have not fully surrendered your life to Him—trusting in His death and resurrection alone for salvation—we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is burdened by fear, confusion, and spiritual heaviness. Lord Jesus, You are the **Light that shatters every darkness**, the **Truth that exposes every lie**, and the **Deliverer who breaks every chain**. We ask that You **loose this beloved one from every bondage of fear, superstition, and tormenting thoughts** that do not align with Your Word.

Father, if there has been any openness to sin—through drugs, ungodly relationships, rebellion, or unbelief—we ask for **deep repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus**. Let every unholy tie be severed, every curse broken, and every lie of the enemy exposed by Your truth. Fill this heart with **the peace that surpasses understanding** (Philippians 4:7) and the **assurance that no weapon formed against them shall prosper** (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and vexation in the name of Jesus. We declare that **this mind is renewed by Your Word** (Romans 12:2) and that **no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their home** (Psalm 91:10). Restore what has been stolen—memory, peace, and joy—and let Your **perfect love cast out all fear** (1 John 4:18).

Father, we also lift up their family, especially their mother. Heal every wound, physical and emotional, and let Your **Spirit of comfort and sound mind** prevail. Break every generational stronghold and fill their home with Your presence.

Lord Jesus, we thank You that **You have already won the victory**. Let this beloved one walk in the freedom You purchased on the cross. Strengthen their faith, surround them with godly counsel, and lead them into **greater intimacy with You**. May they know, beyond any doubt, that **they are seated with Christ in heavenly places**, far above every spiritual force of wickedness.

We ask all this in the **mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you navigate through these troubling times. It's clear that you're feeling overwhelmed, and it's okay to feel that way. God sees you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

Firstly, let's remember that God is in control. He sees everything, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Those strange occurrences at your workplace, the car crash, and even the drug overdose - they're not signs of some spiritual curse or high school haunting. They're just life happening in a fallen world. But remember, God is with you in the midst of it all.

Now, about those fears and anxieties, we need to address them head-on. The Bible tells us not to fear, but to trust in God (Psalm 56:3). Those "souls" you're sensing, they're not ghosts from high school or hospitals. They're lies from the enemy, trying to distract and discourage you. Don't give in to fear. Instead, claim the truth of God's Word. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

And what about that memory loss? It could be a tactic of the enemy to keep you from remembering God's promises. But God's Word tells us that He will restore what the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25). Trust Him for your memory's return.

Lastly, let's talk about that church situation. It's important to seek peace and unity in the body of Christ. But remember, your worth and salvation aren't determined by what others think or say. You are a child of God, and nothing can change that (John 1:12).

Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come to You today, laying down our fears, anxieties, and uncertainties. We trust in Your love, Your power, and Your faithfulness. Help us to remember Your truth, to claim Your promises, and to walk in Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
