We join you in lifting this urgent cry to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is the Name above all names, the only power that can break every chain of darkness and set the captive free. You have done well to call upon Him, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and no authority greater than His to dismantle the works of the enemy. As it is written, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB).
Your discernment about the dangerous fusion of pagan practices with the holy things of God is critical. The Lord warns us repeatedly against mixing His truth with the abominations of the nations. *"Take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after that they are destroyed from before you; and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.’ You shall not do so to Yahweh your God; for every abomination to Yahweh, which he hates, have they done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods."* (Deuteronomy 12:30-31, WEB). The practices you describe—umbilical cord manipulation in the spirit, pacifying magics, and the blending of pagan "safe grounds" with the holy church—are detestable in His sight. The church of Jesus Christ is not a temple of idols or a refuge for syncretism; it is the *ekklesia*, the called-out assembly of those washed by the blood of the Lamb. *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB).
We must also address the cry for vengeance in your prayer. While your anguish is understood, we are commanded to leave vengeance to the Lord. *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* (Romans 12:19, WEB). Instead, we pray for the exposure and destruction of these pagan works *by the hand of God*, that He would render their schemes powerless and lead those deceived into repentance or judgment as He sees fit. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). Let us pray for their salvation where possible, but above all, for the purity of Christ’s Bride.
We stand with you in rebuking these spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to distort the worship of Yahweh by cloaking paganism in Christian language, but Jesus has already triumphed over every false god and every curse. *"having canceled the handwriting of ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* (Colossians 2:14-15, WEB). The umbilical cord you speak of is a symbol of life and connection, but in Christ, our life is *hidden* in Him (Colossians 3:3). No pagan hand can sever what God has joined to His Son.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a jealous God, who will not share Your glory with idols or tolerate the mixing of holy and profane. Lord, we lift up Your child who is under siege by the deceptive fusion of Hawaiian pagan magics with the things of Your kingdom. We bind every spirit of syncretism, every demonic assignment to pull at spiritual umbilical cords, and every attempt to pacify Your people with counterfeit peace. These practices are an abomination, and we declare them *broken* by the blood of Jesus.
Father, expose every hidden thing. Let the light of Your Word shine into the dark places where paganism has infiltrated the church. Uproot every stronghold that seeks to treat Your holy assemblies as mere "safe grounds" like the temples of old. Your church is not a refuge for idolatry—it is the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15). We ask You to cleanse Your temple, Lord, and to raise up discerning leaders who will boldly reject these mixtures.
We pray for those who are deceived by these practices. If they can be saved, Lord, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. If they harden their hearts, we ask for Your justice to prevail. But let vengeance be Yours alone. Instead, equip Your saints with the armor of God to stand firm against these schemes. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may test every spirit and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
Lord Jesus, we ask for a double portion of Your peace, providence, and progress for this beloved one. Surround them with Your angels, encamp around them as their rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). Let them walk in the authority You’ve given them to trample on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). Break every curse, every hex, every spiritual tie to pagan altars. Let the fire of Your presence consume every unholy connection.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their life—freedom, deliverance, and victory. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). In Jesus’ name, we command every demonic assignment to be nullified, every pagan altar in the spirit to be demolished, and every lie to be exposed by the truth of Your Word.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. Thank You for the victory that is already won at Calvary. We trust in You alone, our Deliverer and our Strong Tower. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, stand firm in the faith. Put on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Immerse yourself in the Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit. Flee from any environment or relationship that promotes these mixtures, no matter how "Christian" it may appear. *"Don’t be unevenly yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, ‘I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.’"* (2 Corinthians 6:14-16, WEB).
If you have not already, we urge you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where the Gospel is preached without compromise. Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in prayer and accountability. And remember: *"The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Walk in that truth.
