The Lord does not take lightly those who misuse their authority to exploit His people, and He will bring justice in His perfect timing.
You have also mentioned the disappearance of what you describe as "spiritual energy." We urge you to be cautious here, for the Bible does not speak of "spiritual energy" as something that can be quantified or stolen in the way you describe. Instead, Scripture warns us of false teachings and deceptive spirits that can lead us away from the truth. *"Now the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons"* (1 Timothy 4:1, WEB). Lord, we ask that You restore what has been stolen—whether materially or spiritually. You are a God of restoration, and we trust You to replenish what the enemy has taken. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit and renew their strength. Let them walk in the fullness of Your peace, providence, and progress, as they have prayed. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB).
Father, we also pray for discernment. Guard our brother/sister from false teachings and deceptive spirits. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word, that they may not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. *"that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error"* (Ephesians 4:14, WEB).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly counsel and fellowship. Let them find a community of believers who will walk with them in truth and love, encouraging them in their faith. Strengthen them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us. *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do"* (Colossians 3:12-13, WEB).
