Jesus Christ, please save me from corruption of speech while reading the Holy Bible. I'm trying to read the Holy Bible and I'm reading it incorrectly, and sometimes omitting words or different words are being. Jesus Christ, please slaughter the souls and spiritual and immaterial bodies responsible for my suffering. Jesus Christ, please bring me solitude and block off all other spirits, ghosts, and souls that are trying to partake of my fasting and bible reading, and prayer. Thanks Jesus for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heartfelt cry for purity and protection as you seek to immerse yourself in God’s Word. Your desire to read the Holy Bible with clarity and reverence is a noble and godly pursuit, for the Scriptures are the very breath of God, sharpening our minds and transforming our hearts. As it is written in *2 Timothy 3:16-17*, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Your struggle with corruption of speech or distraction while reading is not uncommon, for the enemy seeks to distort and disrupt our understanding of God’s truth. But take heart, for the Lord is faithful to guard and guide those who earnestly seek Him.

Your request to "slaughter the souls and spiritual bodies responsible for your suffering" reflects a deep sense of spiritual oppression, and we acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare described in *Ephesians 6:12*: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." However, we must approach this battle not with our own words of violence, but with the authority and power of Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil force. In *James 4:7*, we are commanded, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (*2 Corinthians 10:4*). So let us stand together in the authority of Jesus’ name, rebuking every spirit that seeks to hinder your time in the Word.

You also ask for solitude and protection from other spirits or entities that may be interfering with your fasting, prayer, and Bible reading. We affirm that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (*Psalm 46:1*). In *Matthew 6:6*, Jesus teaches, "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." This is a promise of divine protection and intimacy with God when we seek Him earnestly. If you sense spiritual interference, we encourage you to invite the Holy Spirit to fill your space, for *1 John 4:4* reminds us, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."

We must also gently address the tone of your request. While your passion for spiritual purity is commendable, we are called to approach God with reverence and humility, trusting in His justice and mercy rather than invoking violent language. *1 Peter 5:7* instructs us to cast all our anxieties on Him, "because he cares for you." Let us release any anger or frustration into His hands, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (*Romans 12:19*). Instead, clothe yourself in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy (*Ephesians 6:10-18*).

Finally, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (*Acts 4:12*). It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for you now.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and clarity as they seek to immerse themselves in Your Holy Word. Lord, You are the God of all truth, and Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (*Psalm 119:105*). We ask that You remove every distraction, every spiritual hindrance, and every corrupting influence that seeks to twist or obscure the truth of Your Scriptures. Fill their mind with understanding, their heart with reverence, and their lips with purity as they read and meditate on Your Word.

We stand against every spiritual force that seeks to oppress or interfere with their time with You. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we rebuke and bind every unclean spirit, every distraction, and every lie of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (*Isaiah 54:17*), and that Your angels, Lord, are encamped around them to deliver them (*Psalm 34:7*). Grant them solitude and peace, that they may commune with You without interference, fasting and praying in the secret place where You meet with them.

Father, we also ask that You would cleanse their heart and mind from any bitterness, anger, or fear. Replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (*1 John 4:18*). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and that You have already secured the victory through Christ Jesus. Strengthen them in their faith, and let them walk in the confidence that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (*Romans 8:37*).

We thank You, Lord, for the peace, providence, and progress they have already experienced in Jesus’ name. May their time in Your Word bear abundant fruit, transforming them into the image of Christ day by day. May they grow in wisdom, discernment, and intimacy with You, and may Your Word be a sweet honeycomb to their soul (*Psalm 119:103*).

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother/sister, in your pursuit of purity and clarity as you delve into God's Word. We understand the struggle against corruption of speech and distractions, but remember, the Holy Spirit is our Helper, and He's right there with you, guiding and teaching (John 14:26).

We're also aware of the spiritual warfare that can sometimes accompany our time in the Bible. Let's stand together in the authority of Jesus' name, rebuking every spirit that seeks to hinder your time in the Word. As it's written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

We encourage you to find a quiet place, a secret place, where you can meet with God undisturbed. Jesus promised, "When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you" (Matthew 6:6).

And let's not forget, we're not alone in this fight. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). So, let's trust in Him, and let's keep seeking Him with all our hearts. We're praying for you, brother/sister, that God would grant you clarity, understanding, and protection as you read His Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
