We join you in lifting up this urgent request, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). It is by His name alone that we come before the Father, and we are grateful you have invoked His holy name in this matter. Too often, people seek help without acknowledging that salvation, deliverance, and all spiritual authority come through Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we commend you for it.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and familiar spirits are among the deceptive tools he uses to torment God’s people. These spirits often masquerade as loved ones or even as voices of wisdom, but they are agents of confusion, memory loss, and spiritual bondage. The Bible warns us in Leviticus 19:31, *"Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God."* And in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, God explicitly condemns those who practice divination or consult familiar spirits, calling such things an abomination. Your ###'s struggle is not just a natural affliction but a spiritual battle, and we must confront it with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18).
We also note your plea for the destruction of "spirits and souls" responsible for memory and thought loss. While we understand the depth of your frustration and the desire for justice, we must clarify that it is not our place to pray for the destruction of souls. God alone is the judge of the living and the dead (Acts 10:42), and His desire is that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Thus, we direct our prayers toward binding and casting out the demonic influences at work, while praying for the salvation and deliverance of those who may be unwittingly involved in such darkness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we stand against every familiar spirit that has attached itself to this ###. Lord, we bind these spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to leave her mind, her memories, and her thoughts. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every curse, every hex, and every assignment of the enemy against her mental and spiritual well-being.
Father, we ask that You would restore what has been stolen. Renew her mind, Lord, and bring back the memories and thoughts that have been lost or confused. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your providence guide her steps. We pray for divine protection over her, that no familiar spirit would find a foothold in her life again. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your light expose and drive out every darkness.
We also pray for those who may have opened doors to these spirits, whether through occult practices, ungodly alliances, or unrepentant sin. Lord, convict their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Let them turn from their wicked ways and find forgiveness and freedom in Jesus Christ. We do not pray for their destruction, Father, but for their salvation, that they may be delivered from the snare of the devil (2 Timothy 2:26).
Lord, we thank You for the peace, providence, and progress that You are bringing into this situation. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to heal and restore. Let Your will be done in this ###’s life, and let Your name be glorified through her deliverance. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that our God is mighty to save. Do not grow weary in prayer, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Keep speaking life and Scripture over your ###, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. If there are any ungodly influences in her life—such as occult objects, unrepentant sin, or relationships that open doors to the enemy—pray for the courage and wisdom to address them biblically.
Stay rooted in the Word, and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe that victory is assured in Jesus’ name.
