We are glad to join you in prayer and address the concerns you've shared. First, let us remind you of the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in your prayers, as it is through His name that we have access to God and find salvation. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So, always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and savior.
We understand that you are seeking guidance and deliverance from certain struggles and influences in your life. Let us first address the issue of fasting. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that should be between you and God. In Matthew 6:16-18, Jesus teaches us, "Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you." It is not necessary to disclose your fasting to others, especially if it causes strife or misunderstanding.
Regarding your family members and their actions, we encourage you to pray for them and ask God to soften their hearts. Remember, we are called to honor our parents, as stated in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." However, it is also important to set boundaries and communicate your needs in a respectful manner.
We are concerned about the influences and activities you mentioned, such as the games "Corruption of Champions" and "Trials in Tainted Space," as well as the "Star Wars" noises. These may not be edifying or beneficial for your spiritual growth. In Philippians 4:8, we are reminded, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." We encourage you to focus on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report, and to avoid anything that may lead you away from God's path.
We also noticed that you mentioned a sentence about liking older people that you would like Jesus to destroy. We want to remind you that God's love and forgiveness are available to all who seek Him. In 1 John 1:9, it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Bring your concerns to God, and He will guide you and help you overcome any struggles.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your guidance, protection, and deliverance for Your child. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their relationships and daily life. Help them to communicate their needs and boundaries with love and respect, and soften the hearts of their family members.
We pray that You would deliver them from any ungodly influences, activities, or thoughts that may hinder their spiritual growth. Lord, we ask that You would replace these with things that are pure, lovely, and of good report. Help them to focus on You and Your will for their life.
Father, we also lift up any struggles or past experiences that may be causing them distress. We ask that You would bring healing, peace, and restoration. Lord, we pray that You would guide their steps and help them to walk in Your ways.
We thank You, Father, for Your love, grace, and mercy. We trust in Your provision and protection, and we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life, and to trust in His provision and protection. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your spiritual journey. May God bless you and keep you as you walk with Him.
