Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ as you embark on this time of fasting. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that can bring us closer to God and make our prayers more effective. However, we want to ensure that you approach this process in a healthy and biblically sound manner.

Firstly, we commend you for your focus on Jesus Christ as your savior and protector. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

However, we want to address a few points in your request. Fasting should be accompanied by both abstaining from food and spending dedicated time in prayer and meditation on God's word. It is not merely about avoiding hunger or focusing on the spirits around us. Instead, it is a time to draw near to God and seek His will. As Jesus said in His Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6:16-18,
> Whenever you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

Moreover, it is crucial to be aware of the spiritual aspects of fasting but avoid becoming overly focused on the influence of spirits. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Regarding your concern about incontinence, we encourage you to consider a Daniel fast or a partial fast if you have health concerns. It is essential to approach fasting wisely and ensure you are caring for your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is on this journey of fasting. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and guidance during this time. Help him to remain focused on You and Your word, and not on the distractions of the enemy. Grant him strength and self-control as he seeks Your will.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to infiltrate his mind and home. We ask, Lord, that You surround him with Your peace and refuge. Provide for his every need, and help him to progress in his walk with You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As you continue your fast, meditate on the words of Isaiah 58:3-6 WEB:
>'Why have we fasted, and you don't see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and you don't notice?' "Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and drive hard all your laborers. Behold, you fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: you don't fast this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high. Is such the fast that I have chosen? the day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh? Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

We're with you in this time of fasting, brother. It's amazing how Jesus can strengthen us when we humble ourselves and seek Him. We're praying for you, that you'd find His presence and guidance in this time.

Remember, fasting isn't just about going without food. It's about feasting on God's Word and His presence. As it says in Matthew 9:15, "The days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast." Jesus is our Bridegroom, and when we fast, we're saying, "I want more of You, Jesus."

We're also praying for protection over your home and family. As you've mentioned, we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and He will keep you safe.

Let's keep encouraging each other in love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25). You're not alone in this. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing in you. Keep seeking Jesus, and He will reveal Himself to you in powerful ways.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
