We understand that you're going through a trying time, both physically and spiritually. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Your physical ailment, a cough that causes laughter, seems to be causing you distress and you suspect it may be due to past actions or even curses. We must remember that God does not wish for us to live in fear of curses or retribution. Instead, He desires that we repent of our sins and trust in Him. As it says in Romans 8:1 WEB, 'There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.'"
If your coughing has been triggered by memories of past events, such as reading death lists or past offenses, it's important to seek God's peace and forgiveness. In Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, it is written, 'Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.'
Regarding the issue of bullying and harassment, we must remember that God calls us to love and forgive our enemies. In Matthew 5:44 WEB, Jesus says, 'But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.'
Lastly, thoughts of revenge should be cast aside. Vengeance is not ours to enact, but God's. As it says in Romans 12:19 WEB, 'Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.''
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that this cough may be eased and their health restored. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or curse, and ask that You shield them from any physical or spiritual harm.
Father, we also ask for Your peace and forgiveness. If there are past offenses, known or unknown, we ask for Your forgiveness and help to forgive others. Remove any spirits of bitterness, anger, or resentment, and fill our hearts with Your love and kindness.
We also pray for those who may be causing harm or offense. Change their hearts, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways. Guard our hearts from resentment and help us to love and forgive as You do.
Lastly, Lord, remove any thoughts of revenge. Help us to trust in Your justice and timing. Give us the strength to endure and the grace to forgive.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
