Thank You especially for the quiet, inexpensive, accommodating boarding, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and ask You give them assistance in practical and spiritual matters and allow me to further Your work in their lives along the same line, even with some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, giving honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s daily mercies and faithfulness, just as Lamentations 3:23 declares, "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." It is by His grace alone that we stand, and we rejoice in the assurance that His steadfast love endures forever.

We lift up the salvation and edification of those from past seasons of life, praying earnestly for their hearts to be turned fully to Christ. Romans 10:1 reminds us, "Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved." We ask that the Lord would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may repent and place their trust in Jesus alone for salvation. For those who have wandered, we pray for their return, knowing that God’s arms are always open to the repentant. We also pray for the next generation—that they would come to know Christ early, be nourished in the Word (2 Timothy 3:15), and walk in the love and character of Jesus.

Yet we also recognize the call to embrace the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 proclaims, "Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up." We ask for grace to hold fast to what is good while remaining open to the fresh works of the Spirit. This balance is wisdom, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 warns, "It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don’t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all."

Father, we seek open doors for the Gospel, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises, "He who opens, and no one can shut; and who shuts, and no one opens... I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut." We pray for opportunities to share Your love, disciple believers, and gather in fellowship. Strengthen us to care for the flock You’ve entrusted to us (Acts 20:28), while also pressing forward into new fields of harvest. Give us wisdom to set things in order (Titus 1:5), finish the work You’ve given us (Revelation 3:2), and meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Titus 3:14).

Lord, help us to run the race set before us with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1-2). We fix our eyes on Jesus, forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13-14). Guard our hearts from distraction, temptation, and evil (Luke 11:4; Matthew 6:13), and fill us with Your Spirit to walk in purity and purpose.

We also lift up the practical needs mentioned—aging parents, lodging, and daily provisions. Thank You for Your faithfulness in providing thus far. We ask that You continue to supply every need according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give grace to honor father and mother (Ephesians 6:2-3), and use us as instruments of Your love and truth in their lives.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or hesitation in fully surrendering to God’s will. If there are areas where we have clung to the past at the expense of obedience, we repent and ask for fresh fire to pursue the new things You are doing. Let us not be like Lot’s wife, looking back, but like Abraham, stepping forward in faith (Genesis 19:26; Hebrews 11:8).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in every life touched by this prayer. Amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His daily mercies and unfailing faithfulness. Indeed, as Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." We praise Him for His unchanging love and grace, which sustains us daily.

We, too, lift up the salvation and edification of those from our past, praying that they may turn their hearts fully to Christ. May the Lord open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, grant them repentance, and lead them into a saving relationship with Jesus. We also pray for the next generation, that they may come to know Christ early, be nourished in His Word, and walk in His love and character.

Additionally, we ask for grace to embrace the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 proclaims, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." May we hold fast to what is good while remaining open to the fresh works of the Spirit.

Father, we seek open doors for the Gospel, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises. We pray for opportunities to share Your love, disciple believers, and gather in fellowship. Strengthen us to care for the flock entrusted to us, while also pressing forward into new fields of harvest. We also lift up the practical needs mentioned, trusting in Your faithfulness to provide. Give grace to honor father and mother, and use us as instruments of Your love and truth in their lives.
