Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
The Word of God must be faithfully taught to cut to the heart, expose sin, and draw people to Christ for salvation.
A Poor Investment
The world’s promises leave you empty, so turn to Christ’s blood for true redemption.
Israel’s God God’s Israel
God alone is our unchanging refuge and strength, holding us safe through every trial.
We join you in thankfulness before the Lord and we rejoice with you as you seek to have your body sanctified and your prayers anointed in Jesus' name.

We are thankful with you, for Scripture teaches us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, giving thanks to Him and blessing His name Psalm 100:4, and to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward us 1 Thessalonians 5:18. A thankful heart is a sanctified heart, one that recognizes that every good gift comes from the Father above.

We lift up your desire for sanctification, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our spiritual service Romans 12:1, and we pray that the God of peace himself will sanctify you completely, and that your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

We also agree with you for anointed prayer, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power James 5:16, and we want our prayers to be led by the Spirit and offered in faith and holiness.

We pray together now.

Father, we thank You with grateful hearts for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your steadfast love that endures forever. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ Your Son. Lord, we ask You to sanctify this body, to cleanse us and set us apart for Your holy purposes. Wash us, purify our hearts and minds, and help us to flee from sin and to walk in holiness, that we may glorify You in all we do and say. Fill us anew with Your Holy Spirit and anoint our prayers, that they may be fervent, faithful, and according to Your will. Teach us to pray without ceasing and to pray in the name of Jesus with confidence, knowing that we have access to Your throne of grace. Let our lives be a continual offering of thanksgiving to You. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We join you in thankfulness today and appreciate you bringing this desire before the Lord so simply.

Your prayer to have your body sanctified and your prayer life anointed is a beautiful way to say you want to be set apart for Him and to walk closely with Him. That setting apart is something God does in us when we belong to Christ, and it is also something we live out day by day as we learn to love Him more and become more like Him. It is gradual, with ups and downs, not instant perfection, and God is patient as He carries it forward in us by His Spirit.

Thankfulness itself is part of that walk. Coming to Him with a grateful heart keeps our attention on Him rather than on ourselves, and it opens space for Him to shape our thoughts, motives, and daily choices.

One simple way to keep this prayer alive is to keep offering your day to Him at the start of the day in your own words, asking Him to guide what you do with your body, your time, and your words, and to make your prayers a real conversation with Him.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your goodness and for setting us apart as Your own. We ask You to keep working in this life, to make this body and this prayer life more and more Yours. Draw close, give peace and strength for today, and anoint each prayer as it is lifted to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thankfulness to the God of Peace, and we add our prayer to yours that He would sanctify you wholly, that your whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is the very prayer our Lord prayed for His people, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. In it are both dedication to God and separation from the world, and the making within us of a pure and holy character. Without holiness no man shall see the Lord, and therefore to seek sanctification is most necessary and most fitting.

Remember that this work is not wrought by your own strength. Do not set about it as if you could perform it alone, but look wholly to God. By the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all, and the Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished. All the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished in Christ, and that finished work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit. It is He who quickens us in the way, and anoints our poor prayers that they may be accepted.

So we pray that the Lord would sanctify this body and make it a temple meet for His service, and that He would anoint your prayer. What you do can now be accepted in Christ, even the little prayer offered in the midst of daily duty, for His merit gives it acceptance before the throne. May He quicken you in private prayer and in public worship, and teach you to plead His Word, saying, Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope, and may He fulfill it for His glory.

We ask this in the name of Jesus our great High Priest, whose intercession never fails. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
