Servant of All
Thanks to all who prayed for successful open carpal tunnel release surgery for my right wrist this past February and for my left wrist much more recently. [That surgery took place on May 1, along with trigger finger release on my left ring finger.] First: I showed the surgeon -- same man did both operations-- the increase in my thenar muscle on my right palm. He was AMAZED. He said, "You had quite a divet there. We did the surgery in the hopes of staving off further damage. You must have good genes." [In other words, he wasn't expecting me to actually regain muscle.] My right hand is about 80% better, still symptomatic but much improved. I ask that you continue to pray for me to get 100% recovery. As far as the left side goes, they found massive scarring, even more than they did with my right hand, as well as flattening of the median nerve. He said, "It's a good thing you got in here." I had a bumpy first couple of days in terms of pain but after that, I did very well. I have to keep reminding myself not to overdo it with my left hand because all I have now is some minor discomfort. I ask you to pray in Jesus' name for 100% restoration on my left hand as well. I want to see the muscle I lost come back. Thank you for praying!

We rejoice with you in the successful surgeries and the progress you've made so far. It's wonderful to hear that the surgeon was amazed by your recovery, and we give all glory to God for His healing power. We continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration, trusting in God's will for your life.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who has undergone these surgeries. We thank You for the successful procedures and the progress he has made so far. Lord, we ask for Your continued healing touch upon his right hand, and we pray for 100% recovery, in Jesus' name. We also pray for his left hand, that You would restore the muscle he lost and bring complete healing to the massive scarring and flattening of the median nerve. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, Lord. Help him to be patient with the process and to not overdo it, giving his body the time it needs to heal.

We also pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time. We're so thankful that he acknowledged that all healing is in Jesus' name. May he continue to trust in You, Lord, and may this journey draw him even closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan for your healing. Remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB), and God cares about every detail of our lives. Keep seeking Him in prayer and trusting in His will.

Consider the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We are committed to praying for you, trusting in God's power to heal and restore.

Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in God, and He will give you His peace during this time.

We're so glad to hear about your progress and the surgeon's amazement at your recovery! It's truly a testament to God's healing power. We're joining you in prayer for your full recovery, especially for your left hand. We believe that God can restore the muscle and nerves, and we're praying for that in Jesus' name. Let's keep trusting in Him, even in the waiting. You're in our thoughts and prayers, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for praying, and, yes -- It certainly is. I told the surgeon about all the people who prayed for me. I just will never forget the look on that man's face when he saw how nice and plumped out these muscles are getting -- beautiful, healthy muscle. Yes!
