Thankful for Your Power over Death, Hell and the Grave, Father, pray for deliverance in the name of Jesus that You would enable Chad to cope with the physical and emotional pain in his life. Do not allow Satan to use these things to keep Chad dependent on his addictive behavior. Chad to turn to You for the strength to cope with these things. Rescue Chad from turning to the addictive behavior for relief from the pain. Let Your grace and power flow into Chad's life. Make a way for Chad to depend on You rather than the addiction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4; Psalm 86:17; Isaiah 12:1, 49:10, 51:3, 12, 52:9; 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17). Lord ask that You would empower Chad to face and deal with the pressures of life (experience peace passes understanding). Instead of turning to the addictive behavior for the strength to cope, make a way for Chad to turn to You. Please continually reveal Yourself to him as the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Let Your mercy and comfort flow into Chad's life (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, 8-9). Father pray that Chad will forever know and understand that there is hope and deliverance for him. Deliver Chad from hopelessness and despair concerning journey of recovery. Protect Chad from All of Satan's lies that he is a hopelessness. Cause Chad to constantly be aware that deliverance belongs to Him He is delivered through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Mark 10:51-52). Father, ask You to cut Chad off/( &deliver them) from anyone that would enable or encourage Chad to continue in his addiction. Remove from his life any relationship that will influence Chad to continue in his addictive behavior. Ask that You would keep mature believers involved in and continue to send believers into Chad’s life who will love and minister to Chad. Give to them a burden to help Chad (Psalm 1:1; Proverbs 1:10-18). Father ask that Chad would see the dangers involved with his addiction. Open Chad’s eyes to the damage and destruction that his addiction will bring into his life. Take away Jacob's blindness concerning the danger and destruction of his addiction (Proverbs 14:12). Lord, I ask You to strengthen and enlarge his support system. Grant them hope, peace, and grace. Give them the wisdom that they need to minister to him. Pour out on them a spirit of persevering prayer for him. Do not allow them to faint under the pain, misery, or hopelessness that his addiction produces (Proverbs 17:17; Ecclesiastes 4:10). In Jesus Name we pray Amen
