We join you in praising God for the gift of another year of life. It is truly a blessing to be able to celebrate another birthday, and we are grateful to be able to come before the Father in Jesus Christ's name on your behalf.
As you embark on this new year of life, we pray that God will grant you great health and strength. We are reminded of the Apostle Paul's words to the church in Ephesus: "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith" Ephesians 3:16-17 WEB.
We also pray for happiness, but not the kind of happiness that the world offers. Instead, we pray for the kind of joy that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As Jesus himself said, "These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." John 15:11 WEB.
We must remember that true joy can only be found in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess your sins and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As the Apostle Peter said, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB.
Finally, we want to leave you with a reminder from the Psalms: "This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 WEB. May you truly rejoice and be glad in the day that the Lord has made, and may this year be one of blessing and spiritual growth as you walk with the Lord.
