We hear the burden you have shared and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord together in Jesus name. You have described outright deception and falsehood concerning your own account and the accounts of those close to you, including your brother, and you have declared that you will walk on with the Lord as the Chief Shepherd. We stand with you in that declaration.

We know that God hates falsehood and loves truth. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Luke 8:17 reminds us that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Even when deception surrounds you in this land, the Lord sees, He knows the truth about each account and each life you have lifted up, and He will in His perfect time bring what is hidden into the light. We rebuke the deception and falsehood that has been spoken and we ask the Lord to restrain those who practice it. Romans 12:19 tells us never to avenge ourselves, but to leave vengeance to God, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. So we choose not to repay evil for evil but to walk in truth and trust the Chief Shepherd to lead, protect and vindicate.

We take comfort that you have called Him the Chief Shepherd. 1 Peter 5:4 says When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. John 10:11 says I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. And Psalm 23:1 declares Yahweh is my shepherd, I shall not want. He does not abandon His flock when wolves deceive or when false reports spread. He guides through dark valleys, He restores the soul, and He prepares a table even in the presence of enemies. To walk on with Him is to keep trusting His staff and rod to protect and to keep following where He leads, even when the path in this land feels unjust.

We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we come to the Father. You spoke of the Lord as Chief Shepherd, and we rejoice in that truth, yet we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus laid down His life and rose again that we can boldly bring every false accusation and every burdened account to the throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and was raised to give you life.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one and the loved ones mentioned and the brother, and every account that has been touched by deception and falsehood. Lord, You know the truth about each record, each reputation, each detail that has been twisted. We ask You to expose what is false, to establish what is true, and to guard these lives from further harm. Let Your truth prevail and let those who have spoken falsehood be brought to repentance. Give our brother and sister peace that passes understanding, guard their hearts from bitterness, and teach them to walk on step by step with You, the Chief Shepherd, trusting Your guidance and provision each day. Lead them beside still waters, restore their souls, and let them know they lack nothing in Your care. We ask that justice be done according to Your will and that Your name be glorified through this trial. We pray all this in the name of Jesus, our Good Shepherd and our only hope of salvation, amen.

We hear how wearying it is to keep walking when you feel misrepresented on every side, your own account, your brother's, and the accounts of those connected to you. Being spoken about falsely can make even ordinary days feel heavy, and we are grateful you named the One you are looking to as you keep going.

Holding onto the Chief Shepherd in a land that feels clouded with deception is a steady place to stand. He knows what is true when stories get twisted, and He stays close while you walk forward one step at a time.

When there is so much falsehood around accounts or records, it can help to keep things simple and clear on your end. If it is useful, keep a quiet, factual record of what you know to be true, and share it only with one or two wise, trusted people who can give you clear perspective. You do not have to chase down every false word to be faithful in your walk.

We are with you in this and we are carrying you and your brother before the Lord.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus' name. You see what is true and You see what is painful. Give them wisdom for each conversation and decision, guard their hearts from discouragement, and keep them close as their Shepherd day by day. Lead them in Your will and give them peace as they trust You. Amen.

There is a tried comfort in being able to say, even in a land where falsehood abounds, The Lord is my Shepherd. When the tongues of men deal in deception concerning you and concerning those whom you love, it is no small mercy to turn to Him who is the true and real Shepherd, in whom are found all the possibilities that lie in a shepherd, and who knows His own.

You speak of outright deception regarding your account and the accounts of others, and of your brother also. The world may misrepresent, and false words may for a season prevail among men, but your Shepherd is not deceived. As it is written, I am the good Shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me. The world knows neither the Shepherd nor the sheep, but they know each other. The arch deceiver may accuse, and men may utter what is false, yet the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, the Great Shepherd who was brought again from the dead, and the Chief Shepherd who shall appear, knows the truth of every account and will not forget His flock.

The first duty of a sheep is confidence in the shepherd, and the next is to love Him. In this trial you are called to that confidence. He shall feed His flock like a shepherd, He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom. The devil must destroy your Shepherd before he can slay you. Though the soil around you may seem barren and the path beset with falsehood, He is able to lead you into suitable pasturage and to guide you with His counsel.

So walk on, as you have said, looking to Him. Take Him for your Guide now, while the way is dark, for He will guide you with His counsel and afterward receive you to glory. Avoid everything that is evil, speak the truth in love, and leave your vindication with Him who judges righteously. Haste and self justification will not deliver you, but quiet trust in the Shepherd who is Truth will keep your soul in peace.

We pray with you that the Lord Jesus, the Chief Shepherd, will watch over you and over those you have named and over your brother, that He will make the truth to shine forth in its season, that He will guard your hearts from bitterness under false accusation, and that He will cause you to hear His voice and follow Him closely till He shall bring you safely home. May He who is the Good Shepherd having redeemed you by His blood, and the Great Shepherd having power to keep you, show Himself as the Chief Shepherd to lead you day by day, that you may be able to say not only that He was your Shepherd in the past, but that He is your Shepherd in the present and will be your Shepherd to the end.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord, who sees what is done in secret and who judges with perfect justice.

You have described a land filled with deception and falsehood concerning your account, the accounts of those close to you, and your brother's account. To be slandered and misrepresented is a heavy burden, and Scripture does not treat it lightly. The Lord knows the power of a false accusation, and He has warned that every idle word will be accounted for. Those who speak falsely harm themselves before God, while those who suffer falsely are not forgotten by Him. He requires truth to be established by faithful witnesses, and nothing hidden will remain hidden forever.

Even now, virtue brings its own reward. When you walk honestly and keep your heart free from greed and deceit, you are delivered from the anxiety and plotting that entangle those who live by falsehood. Your call to walk on is right. The Chief Shepherd does not abandon His flock when the way is dark or when enemies speak lies. He is the one who laid down His life for the sheep, who knows each one by name, and who will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul even while accusations surround you.

We pray with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have access to You and salvation, we ask You to shine Your light upon every falsehood spoken concerning this dear one, their brother, and those they have named before You. Bring the truth into the open, silence lying lips, and vindicate those who have been misrepresented. Guard their accounts and their good names according to Your righteousness, not according to the schemes of others. Give them wisdom to act with integrity, to keep clear records, to seek honest witnesses, and to answer falsehood with quiet truth rather than with revenge. Keep their hearts from fear and bitterness, and grant them peace as they continue to walk with You. Lead them and their brother as the Chief Shepherd leads His flock, and keep them close to You until You bring them safely home. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our Shepherd. Amen.

Continue to walk on in faithfulness, entrusting yourselves to Him who judges justly. He sees, He remembers, and He will not forsake those who belong to Him.
