Disciple of Prayer
So...after 11 months living in hell....
More visits to the Emergency room than to the bathroom....
I have received a miracle.....

I finally am getting a handle on my skin diseases; and, the corresponding sepsis from uncontrollable abscesses.

Many of you prayed for me.....
The Lord heard our prayers.....
I have two diagnosed issues...I will be on antibiotics for life....but....it is controllable.....

I haven't been in the hospital for about two months.....
It had been every 3 weeks....

I now have to deal with massive debt from this mess.....but....I am healed.

So....to all of you.... THANK YOU!!!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY.....

I just want to ask Jesus to bless all of you with a very special loving dispensation of grace, mercy, love,.....and maybe even something more personal.

THANK YOU ALL, ###

Were the Prayers for President Garfield a Failure
God answers every sincere prayer by giving what we ask or something better for our ultimate good.
Sickness in the Mansion
God allows suffering to push us toward a better life and calls us to trust His healing power.
We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for this wonderful report of His mercy and healing after so many months of suffering. To God be the glory indeed. We have been praying and the Lord has heard our prayers and shown His compassionate power. We praise Him that you have gone two months without a hospital stay after so many emergency visits, and that what was uncontrollable is now controllable and you have answers and treatment.

We are reminded of the truth in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also give thanks in all circumstances as we are taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, and we see your thankful heart so clearly in this message.

We join together now and pray for you in Jesus' name. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your loving kindness and for hearing our prayers for our dear one. Thank You for Your healing hand upon these skin diseases and for delivering from repeated sepsis and abscesses. We thank You for wisdom for doctors and for the antibiotics that are helping to keep this under control. We ask You to continue to restore health fully, to keep infection far away, to strengthen the body and the skin, and to give continued wisdom for ongoing care. Lord, we also lift up the heavy burden of debt that has come from this long trial. You know every bill and every need, and we ask You to provide, to open doors, to grant favor and peace in financial matters, for Your word promises in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Grant peace that surpasses understanding as in Philippians 4:6-7, and let Your grace and mercy continue to sustain each day. We ask You to bless all those who prayed, as our friend has asked, with a fresh dispensation of Your grace, mercy and love, and draw each of us closer to Jesus. We pray all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord in this new season of healing. Even though you will be on antibiotics for life, we trust that God will continue to be your strength and your healer, and that He will use even this ongoing treatment for your good as in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Keep trusting Him for both physical healing and financial provision, seeking Him daily in prayer and in His word, and resting in the assurance that He who began this good work will be faithful to complete it. We continue to stand with you in prayer for complete and lasting wholeness and for the Lord's abundant provision and peace over your life.

We were so glad to read your update and to thank God with you for what He has done.

Eleven months of emergency visits and sepsis from abscesses is a long road to walk, and going from every three weeks in the hospital to two months without a stay is a real mercy. We hear your relief that your skin conditions are finally controllable, even while you are facing the reality of lifelong antibiotics and the weight of the debt that built up during that time. It makes sense to feel both grateful and still a bit overwhelmed.

One thing we have seen with long illnesses is that recovery is not just one moment but a slow reclaiming of normal life. It helps to mark progress like this and to keep steady support around you. As you navigate the financial piece, it may help to sit down soon with your hospital's financial counselor or patient advocate to ask about assistance programs, itemized bills, and manageable payment plans, and a nonprofit credit counselor can also help you sort options without pressure. And we encourage you to stay close to your medical team as you continue this new treatment plan.

We are carrying your thanksgiving and your ongoing needs before the Lord.

Father, we thank You for hearing prayer and for the healing and stability You have given our brother after so much suffering. We ask for Your continued hand over his health, wisdom for his doctors, and grace and provision as he works through the debt. Bless him with peace and strength in Jesus' name, and let Your mercy and love continue to be evident in his life. Amen.

Your testimony after eleven months of sore affliction brings joy to all who have prayed for you, and we join you in saying with all your heart, To God be the glory. The Lord has heard prayer and has made provision in abundance for your need, and there it is within view, that you are spared from the constant visits to the emergency room and kept these two months from the hospital which had become so familiar to you.

We give thanks for crowning mercies which suggest crowning thanksgiving. All the year round, every hour of every day, God is richly blessing us, but when He lifts a heavy burden and grants relief after long suffering, it becomes us to come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, each one bearing his offering of gratitude unto the Lord. Your inward emotions of gratitude are most fitting, and your public testimony is a debt both to God and to man. If a soldier of the Cross does not show his colors, all his comrades are losers by his lack of decision, and so we thank you for speaking plainly of what the Lord has done.

You tell us that two diagnosed issues remain and that you will be on antibiotics for life, yet the disease is now controllable, and the sepsis from uncontrollable abscesses has been stayed. We rejoice that healing and mercy have met together. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only in great things but in the very leaves of the tree, for the least thing about Christ is healing. Those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and we pray that the same hand which has restrained this bodily affliction will continue to keep you and perfect that which concerns you.

We do not forget the other burden you now carry, the massive debt from this long trial. The Lord who has provided for your body is able to provide for your estate also, and we will ask Him to give you wisdom, provision, and peace as you face it step by step.

May the Lord keep you in personal enjoyment of true godliness, for such enjoyment assists us in our testimony for Truth and Grace. Delight yourself in the fatness of His mercy before you proclaim the festival, and then proclaim it earnestly, for personal testimony is the most effectual weapon for overcoming unbelief when it is delivered with a glad and willing heart. May others hear what you have seen and heard of the Lord's goodness and be led to seek the Savior themselves.

We pray that our gracious God and Father will bless you with continued health so far as it pleases His wisdom, with patience under continuing treatment, with deliverance from fear, with full assurance of pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus, and with grace to bear witness to His faithfulness in every place He calls you. May He supply your temporal needs, quiet your heart, and cause you to know more fully the riches of His mercy and love in Christ.

We praise God with you and for you, and we will continue to remember you before the throne of grace.
