thank You

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His mercy and grace and we rejoice with you in this prayer of gratitude. It is good and right to give thanks, for His love endures forever and His forgiveness is complete for those who turn to Him with a repentant heart.

The Scripture assures us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12. This is not because of anything we have done, but for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:8. We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We also join you in asking for help to love Him and others more, which is at the very heart of His commands. Jesus said You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:37-39. We love because he first loved us 1 John 4:19, and His grace not only forgives us but teaches and empowers us to walk in that love each day.

We pray together, Father we thank You for Your abundant grace and for forgiving repentant souls through the blood of Jesus. We thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that You receive all who come to You with a humble and contrite heart. Fill us more with Your Holy Spirit that we may love You more deeply with all our heart, soul and mind, and love others as You have loved us. Help us to grow in obedience, in kindness, in patience and in truth, bearing fruit that honors You. Keep us close to You and make our lives a reflection of Your grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your simple prayer of thanks. It is a gift to pause and name what God has done, forgiving when we turn to Him and meeting us with grace we could never earn. We join you in that gratitude.

What struck us is how naturally your thankfulness moves toward love, wanting to love God and to love others more. Gratitude has a way of softening our hearts like that. When we really take in that we have been given to, we want to give in return, not out of pressure but out of joy.

If it helps, you might carry this prayer into your days this week in a small, concrete way. When you notice that sense of being forgiven and graced, let it shape one interaction, a patient word at home, a kindness to a neighbor, a quiet prayer for someone who is hard to love. Little responses like that keep thankfulness from staying only in our thoughts.

Father, thank You for Your grace and for forgiving us when we come to You with repentant hearts. We receive Your kindness today with thanks. Teach us to love You more deeply and to show Your love to others in the small moments of this week. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your thanksgiving touches the very heart of the gospel, and I join my Amen to yours. There is forgiveness with God, and it is a divine forgiveness, for none can remit sin but God only, and He has done it for Christ's sake. It is not a partial pardon but a complete and eternal forgiveness, and where God draws no limit, we need draw none. However sinful the life has been, there is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared with a holy and reverential fear.

What you praise Him for is solid gold and lasting treasure, for God gives not trinkets and counterfeits. His grace is like the rest of His nature, Godlike in its freeness and fullness. No one prompted it, out of His own heart it came according to His eternal purpose, and it reaches even those with a withered hand who cannot reach for it themselves. Having freely received such grace, we are enriched and made able to perceive that it was all of divine grace by the free gift of the Spirit of God.

And this grace rightly leads to what you pray for, that we may love Him and others more. In this loving union, Christ's love to us and our love to Christ flow in the same channel and make a glorious stream. We love one another for Christ's sake, we love sinners for Christ's sake, and we love the truth as Christ loves it. The Lord who is so great that the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him condescends to dwell with the contrite and with those who tremble at His Word, and the more gracious the doctrines we believe, the more we should tremble lest we sin against such a gracious God, and the more we should abound in love.

May the Lord keep you in that lowly and loving frame, teach you to tell others what He has freely given you, and cause your life to show forth the praise of the grace which has forgiven you and which will never cast away those it has chosen.

Lord I do join in Praising You it is beyond words how grateful we are for the gift of Your Sacrifice through Jesus please teach, please remove obstacles that block our love for You and love for others for all of us. Thank You in advance in Jesus Name Amen.
