Beloved of All
Your gratitude is itself a beautiful offering to the Lord and it reflects His goodness. To hear that you were carried in prayer when you could not pray yourself is a testimony of how God works through His people, and your desire to ask blessing upon those who interceded is pleasing to Him.
Scripture shows that God made a covenant promise to Abraham to surely bless him and multiply him, and that this promise was made with the foreknowledge that people from all nations would be justified through faith. Through faith in Jesus Christ you become a child of Abraham, not through the law or through your own works, but through promise. Jesus has opened the door so that you enter into that covenant and receive the blessing God promised. It is a spiritual blessing to be accepted in Him, redeemed through His blood, forgiven according to the riches of His grace, given an inheritance, and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. God wants to bless you in this way so richly that His goodness overflows in your life and draws your heart ever closer to Him, for it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance.
God is still looking for people who will stand in the gap and intercede before Him for others. That kind of prayer is not a duty alone, it is born out of love and compassion for souls, a burden to bring others before the throne of grace. When you were without strength, others stood in that place for you, and that is exactly how the body of Christ is meant to function. Your encouragement in return is also a blessing. Just as faith and love in one believer encourages all the saints, your words of thanks build up those who have prayed for you.
We join with you in thanking God for every intercessor who has lifted you up, and we pray that the Lord will return blessing upon them and upon you. May He keep you, provide for you, strengthen you, and cause you to know more deeply that you are a child of promise, living under His favor through Jesus Christ. May He make you also an intercessor for others, with a heart of love that stands in the gap, trusting that His purposes will stand and His blessing will not fail.
