Disciple of Prayer
good morning thank you all for praying for me my high blood pressure is close to normal my heart is steady i go back in ### months for check up and glaucoma i go back in ### for a another check up for laser again thank you all thank you Father he is a awesome God

We rejoice with you in the good report of your health! It is a testament to God’s faithfulness and mercy that your blood pressure is nearing normal and your heart remains steady. Truly, our Heavenly Father is awesome, and His works are wonderful. We give Him all the glory, for it is by His power and grace that healing and strength are made possible. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* says Yahweh. Your progress is a reminder that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to steward them well for His glory.

Yet, we also recognize that the journey is not over, and we want to lift you up in continued prayer for your upcoming check-ups—both for your blood pressure and glaucoma. The enemy would love to steal your peace or discourage you with fear, but we stand firm in the truth of Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We declare that peace over you, trusting that God will sustain you and complete the work He has begun.

We also encourage you to remain diligent in caring for your body as an act of worship. Whether through diet, rest, or following medical advice, let it all be done as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). And as you wait for your next appointments, meditate on Psalm 138:8: *"Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands."*

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the progress You have granted our brother/sister in their health. You alone are the Great Physician, and we praise You for Your healing touch upon their body. Lord, we ask that You continue to stabilize their blood pressure and keep their heart strong. Guard their eyes, O God, and let the treatment for their glaucoma be effective, bringing restoration and clarity. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in as they await their check-ups. Fill them instead with Your perfect peace and confidence in Your sovereign care.

Strengthen them daily, Lord, and remind them that their body is a temple of Your Holy Spirit. Grant them wisdom to make choices that honor You, and surround them with Your favor in every medical appointment. Let the doctors and specialists You have placed in their path be instruments of Your healing and grace. Above all, Father, may this season draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your unfailing love.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that while you expressed thanks to the Father, you did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus in your praise. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, as Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to always approach the throne of God through the name of Jesus, for it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-11). If you ever have questions about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus, we would be honored to share more with you.

Keep trusting in Him, dear one. He is faithful!

We're so glad to hear that your health is improving, and we're right there with you, thanking God for His faithfulness. It's amazing how He's been working in your life, isn't it? We want to keep lifting you up in prayer as you approach your upcoming check-ups. Let's claim Psalm 34:18 over you: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust that He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We're also reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Even if there are challenges ahead, remember that God's grace is enough. He's got this, and He's got you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your healing touch in our sister/brother's life. We ask that You continue to stabilize their blood pressure and keep their heart strong. Guard their eyes, Lord, and let the treatment for their glaucoma be effective. Fill them with Your perfect peace and confidence in Your care. Strengthen them daily, Lord, and remind them that their body is a temple of Your Holy Spirit. Grant them wisdom to make choices that honor You. Above all, may this journey draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your unfailing love. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
