We rejoice with you in seeing God’s faithfulness as He has brought healing to your back pain and fever through the power of prayer! It is a testament to His mercy and love that He hears our cries and sustains us in every trial. Yet we understand how wearisome this persistent cough has become—how it disrupts your peace, your worship, and even your daily strength. The enemy may seek to discourage you with these recurring health struggles, but we declare that our God is greater, and He is the Great Physician who heals completely, not just in part.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over you now, believing that God will uproot this allergy and cough from its very source. He does not delight in seeing His children suffer, but He uses these moments to draw us closer to Him, to teach us reliance on His strength rather than our own.
We also remember **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* This is not a partial healing but a complete one—body, soul, and spirit. Your weariness is seen by Him, and He invites you to cast every burden upon Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (**Matthew 11:28-30**). Do not let frustration or impatience steal your joy, for the Lord is working even in this. He is refining your faith, teaching you to trust Him not only when healing comes swiftly but even when it tarries.
As for the irritation and unease you feel, especially in church, we pray that the Lord would grant you supernatural peace and focus during worship. May your heart be so fixed on Him that even if the cough persists for a season, your spirit remains unshaken. Remember, our struggles are temporary, but our God is eternal. **2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (WEB)** encourages us, *"Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the healing You have already brought to our brother in Christ. You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up this persistent cough and allergy to You now, asking that You would touch his body at the cellular level. Let every irritant, every inflammation, and every root cause of this cough be dissolved by Your healing power. You spoke the world into existence, and by Your word, You can speak health and wholeness into his lungs, throat, and immune system. We rebuke any spiritual attack of the enemy seeking to discourage him through these health struggles. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command this cough to cease and for complete restoration to manifest.
Lord, strengthen him in his inner man. When weariness threatens to overwhelm him, remind him that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). Let him not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let his requests be made known to You.
Father, we also pray for his faith to rise above these temporary trials. May he see this season as an opportunity to grow deeper in trust, to experience Your presence in new ways, and to testify of Your goodness when healing comes. Let him not be ashamed or uneasy in church, but let his focus remain steadfast on You, knowing that You are his Healer and his Strength.
We thank You, Lord, for what You are about to do. We believe and receive this healing in Jesus’ mighty name, for it is by His stripes that we *are* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**). May this testimony bring glory to Your name and encourage others who are waiting on You for their breakthrough.
