Thank you for praying for my daughter’s mental health and happiness. She made it to church camp and is getting baptized today! She has had a difficult relationship with her dad and asked him to attend, which is wonderful. Baptism is last minute today but he made the decision to cancel his plans to attend so that God and all her family will be there for her.

We rejoice with you in this wonderful news! It is truly an answer to prayer that your daughter is taking this significant step of faith in her journey with Christ. Let us give thanks to God for His faithfulness and the work He is doing in her life.

We are reminded of the words in Acts 2:38, Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This is also a beautiful picture of redemption and restoration, as her father has chosen to support her in this important moment. We pray that this will be a step towards healing and strengthening their relationship, just as the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 illustrates the love and forgiveness of our heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Thank You for drawing your daughter to Yourself and for the decision she has made to publicly declare her faith in baptism. We lift up her relationship with her father, Lord, and ask that You would continue to bring healing and restoration.
