Warriors -

I want to extend a BIG thank you for all those that have been praying for my son and his comrads as they have been bravely battling the "Station" fire in LA county. He came home yesterday, exhausted but SAFE! And since you all have been praying, there have been no more fatalities. Thank you all for standing with me and lifting up these brave fire fighters from all over the country.

New statistics: So far - fire started August 26th, 2009

160.557 acreas have burned

250 square miles of forest land destroyed

$ 82 millions dollars to fight it so far, may go up to $ 100 million by the time

it is fully contained.

Please do keep the fire fighters in your prayers as there are still many putting their lives at risk in this rugged mountain area. Not only that but the animals are coming down and looking for food and water. There are mountain lions among them. Dangerous animals are coming towards civilization. Much prayer is still needed.

Lord Jesus, I lift up my hands in praise for protecting Rob and his crew. I pray for all those who have had injuries, that they would mend fast. I continue to pray for the families of the two fire fighters who bravely gave their lives, May they find peace and comfort in your loving arms. I pray for those still on the lines. I ask your protection over them, not only from the fires that are still raging but against the wild animals trying to get to safety, food and water. Lord, make sure each fire fighter has a clear mind so that there are no distractions that will put not only their life in danger but their comrads as well. Help them all to make good, safe choices as they battle on day and night. May this fire be contained as soon as possible. Thank you Lord for your help. In thy name, I pray. Amen

God also watch over your animals and help them to stay safe and away from any dangers to themselves or others. Help this wildfire to be put out, and the supplies that are needed be ready.
