Thank you, update, continued prayers

I am asking for urgent prayers for my son. My son is a good quality person but he is having a very difficult time at boot camp. It is so difficult for him mentally, not physically that he wants to quit. Recognizing that it is only mental for him, his Sargent called and asked for my husband and I to talk to him to try to get him back on the right track. My husband was so magical on the phone and said all the right and truthful things to him. It is up to my son to decide he can do this and put himself in a positive thinking mode. He has only 17 days left. I know he can do it but it is now up to him.

I am asking for prayers of mental strength and godspeed for my son. I know he is hurting right now but if he gives up he will regret this for the rest of his life. I am just not sure he is in the right mental space to have heard us on the phone but I know God makes great wonders and I have to rely on faith at this moment.

Please help me pray for my son ###.

Update:

I want to let everyone know that the prayers have made a tremendous difference. I received a letter today that ### was back in training at boot camp. He is very mentally weak and still hurting but he has only 2 weeks from today to finish. I think with continued letters and prayers it is possible he will make it.

I again ask if you could please say a prayer for ###. Again, he is a good quality person but for some reason this is proving very very hard and mentally he is breaking down. The physical part is not the problem, it is all mental.

I can't wait to write tonight letter to let him know that people prayed for him and that prayers are very powerful. He received a Bible I sent to him so I know that will be a great sense of comfort.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
