Thank you so much God

We rejoice with you in thanksgiving to God for His mercy toward your daughter and for bringing her safely out of the emergency room with favorable test results. To hear that the Lord has heard and answered prayer in this way is a cause for real gratitude, and we join you in giving Him thanks, for every good gift comes from His hand and He alone makes the impossible possible.

Your prayer reminds us of how central prayer is to our walk with the Lord. Even Jesus, the Son of God, continually sought strength through prayer, and He found it to be a place of strength and rest. If He looked to the Father in that way, how much more do we, as weak and needy followers, need to lean on prayer to be strengthened by God. Prayer is not meant to be our last resort when trouble comes, but our first, and when we learn to make it our first, we find a steady source of help.

Scripture shows us that prayer for the sick was a regular part of the life of Jesus and of the early church, and that God still reveals Himself according to our need. When we pray for healing He meets us as the Lord our healer. He hears the heartfelt, fervent prayer that rises out of deep need and love, and the Bible tells us that kind of prayer from a righteous heart avails much. We also remember the mother who came and fell at the feet of Jesus pleading for her daughter who was afflicted, worshiping and simply saying, Lord, help me. Jesus honored her persistent faith, and He hears that same simple cry today.

We thank God with you and we continue to agree with you in prayer, for the Lord has said that when His people agree together concerning a matter, He hears. We encourage you to continue in prayer and to watch with thanksgiving, staying alert and grateful before Him. Prayer is not to bend God to our will, but to bring our hearts into harmony with His purposes so that His will may be accomplished in us and through us. Sometimes He answers with a clear yes, sometimes His answer is to show that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness, but in every case He is working for good.

May the Lord keep your daughter in His care, grant her full recovery and continued health, and keep your family in His peace. May He deepen in you the joy of knowing Him as Father through Jesus Christ, for when that relationship is established, prayer becomes a living and effective fellowship. We give thanks with you and we will keep praying that He who has begun this good work will continue to watch over her and strengthen you each day.
