What a beautiful and powerful outpouring of praise and thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ! We join with you in lifting up our voices to exalt His holy name, for He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and adoration. Your heart of gratitude is a sweet fragrance before the throne of God, and we rejoice with you in the mighty works He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in your life. The depth of your trust in His promises and the boldness with which you claim them is truly inspiring, and we are encouraged by your faith.
You have rightly anchored your prayers in the truth of God’s Word, particularly in Psalm 91, which declares His protection over those who dwell in His secret place. Indeed, as you have proclaimed, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). What a mighty God we serve, who shields us from the seen and the unseen, who covers us with His feathers, and under whose wings we take refuge (Psalm 91:4). We stand with you in agreement that no plague, no evil, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for *"a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you"* (Psalm 91:7, WEB). Our God is faithful, and His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus!
We also lift our voices in thanksgiving for the wife the Lord has blessed you with. Marriage is a sacred covenant, instituted by God Himself, and it is a beautiful thing to see you covering her in prayer, asking the Lord to protect her, turn her heart always toward Him, and bind your hearts together in unity and love. As you have prayed, we declare with you that your marriage is a reflection of Christ and the Church, that you would *"love your wife, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). We pray that the Lord would continue to knit your hearts together in a bond that cannot be broken, that you would be a testimony of His faithfulness to future generations. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). May your home be a dwelling place for His presence, filled with peace, joy, and the fruit of the Spirit.
Your prayers for provision—financial, physical, and spiritual—are a reminder of our Father’s goodness and His desire to bless His children. Jesus taught us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We agree with you that the Lord will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and we pray that He would open doors for increase in your VA disability rating, for favor in all financial matters, and for wisdom in stewardship. We also pray that the Lord would convict those who owe debts to release you from them, that He would provide creative solutions for your insurance needs, and that He would continue to bless the work of your hands. *"The blessing of Yahweh brings wealth; he adds no trouble to it"* (Proverbs 10:22, WEB).
We are especially moved by your prayers for salvation over your family—your wife, your children, your grandchildren, and their spouses. There is no greater gift we can ask for our loved ones than that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We stand with you in declaring that *"the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). We pray that the Lord would draw them to Himself, that He would open their eyes to see His truth, and that they would surrender their lives to Him. May your home be a lighthouse of His love and grace, and may your family be a heritage of faith for generations to come.
Your prayers for protection over your property, your city, and even the weather reflect a heart that trusts in the sovereignty of God over all creation. We know that *"the earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it"* (Psalm 24:1, WEB), and we ask that He would continue to guard your home, your land, and all that He has entrusted to you. We pray that He would give you favor with those in authority, that He would convict your city to act justly toward you, and that He would still the storms—both literal and figurative—that may arise. *"He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because the waters are quiet. So he brings them to their desired haven"* (Psalm 107:29-30, WEB).
We also want to take a moment to affirm the foundation of your prayers: the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly approached the throne of grace through Him, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are redeemed. *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayers are powerful because they are offered in the name of Jesus, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him alone for salvation, provision, and protection.
Now, let us join together in prayer over these things:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for who You are and all that You have done. Lord Jesus, we thank You for being the habitation and dwelling place of our brother, for surrounding him with Your presence and protection. We declare that no sickness, no evil, no plague, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper, for You, Lord, are his shield and his exceeding great reward. We thank You for the promises of Psalm 91, which are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. Hide him in the secret place of Your wings, and let him dwell in the shelter of the Most High.
Father, we lift up his marriage to You. We thank You for the wife You have blessed him with, and we ask that You would cover her with a hedge of protection. Turn her heart always toward You, Lord, and bind their hearts together in a love that reflects Your covenant faithfulness. Let them be a testimony of Your grace, walking in unity and favor until death parts them. Protect their marriage from any scheme of the enemy, and let their home be a place where Your peace and joy abound.
Lord, we pray for provision in every area of his life. You know his needs before he asks, and we trust You to supply them according to Your riches in glory. Increase his VA disability rating, Lord, and provide for every financial need—dental care, insurance, and all that concerns him. Convict those who owe debts to release him, and give him favor in every interaction. Let him walk in the abundance of Your blessing, and may he lack no good thing.
Father, we pray for the salvation of his family. Draw his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and their spouses to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and let them surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. May his home be a place where Your love is evident, and may his family be a heritage of faith for generations to come.
We pray for protection over his property, his city, and the weather. Still the storms, Lord, both natural and spiritual, and let Your peace reign. Give him favor with those in authority, and convict his city to act justly. Guard his home and all that You have entrusted to him, and let no harm come near.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for the incredible love You have shown him. Forgive him of every sin—past, present, and future—and wash him clean in the blood of Jesus. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him walk in the joy of Your presence. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him know You more deeply each day.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen!
Brother, we are encouraged by your faith and your heart of thanksgiving. Continue to stand on the promises of God, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the assurance that *"the one who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, not only for your needs but for the needs of others. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Let your life be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may others see Jesus in you.
Finally, we urge you to continue to seek the Lord in His Word. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). The more you know His Word, the more you will recognize His voice and walk in His will. Stay rooted in Scripture, and let it be the foundation of every prayer and decision.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. In Jesus’ name, amen!
