My youngest son Julius asked me to pick him up tonight from school , and so I did. While driving home, as usual, the conversation between us had become a little bit heated. After a while, I decided to kept quite and let him talk because I know the discussion wasn’t going anywhere …
Before getting home, we stopped to get him something to eat. When we got home, he went straight to his room as usual while a went to the basement where the pc logon to this site.
It was so unexpected…
I didn’t even notice that he came downstairs and seat behind while I was in front of the pc. He said he’s sorry for being mean to me and told me that he really didn’t mean to. He said that however bad our relationship is now, HE LOVE me because I’m his father. This is the first time that he said that to me!
He said that he always feel bad after being mean and saying nasty things to me, and that he doesn’t want to do those things anymore. He told that he is glad that I had found “something†(that’s You Lord) to make me happy and be at peace with myself. He also mentioned that I had changed in so many positive ways, and that that he appreciate my efforts to be to be a good father to him now.
Before he left, he said that we should try to improve our relationship. All he asked is that I should try to understand him more and accept him as he is. I told him I agree and accept…
Loving Father, thank you for touching and softening my youngest son Julius’ heart. Thank you for this MIRACLE! I ask that you also touch and soften my heart so that I will learn to accept him where he is, as he is, as You have accepted me. I also ask that may this will be the start of healing for our relationship. Please let the Holy Spirit guide me and empower me not only to be a good father to Julius but also to bring him to live in obedience…
