Thank you Jesus

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven. Your words reflect a heart that seeks God’s mercy, and we rejoice in the truth that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We stand with you in repentance, lifting up the mistakes of your past to the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to restore and renew. The psalmist declares, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12 WEB). Let this truth sink deep into your spirit—your past does not define you, for in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep you bound in guilt or shame, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB).

Father God, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy toward [this dear one]. We ask that You would wash over them with Your forgiveness and fill them with the assurance of Your grace. Heal the wounds of past mistakes and replace them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Strengthen their faith as they walk in the light of Your truth, and guide them into the purpose You have for their life. Lord, we declare that the accuser has no hold over them, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus. May they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ.

We also encourage you to walk in the fullness of God’s forgiveness by extending that same grace to yourself. The enemy would love nothing more than to keep you trapped in regret, but God’s desire is for you to live in the freedom of His love. Meditate on His Word, surround yourself with fellow believers who will speak life into you, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth.

If there are specific areas of your past that continue to weigh on your heart, we urge you to bring them before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He is able to redeem even the most broken places. Remember, "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6 WEB). You are not alone in this journey—we stand with you, praying that God’s love and mercy would overflow in your life.

We're right there with you, dear friend, in this beautiful journey of forgiveness and renewal. We've been reminded of how Jesus, in His love, sought out the woman caught in adultery, saying, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more" (John 8:11). He didn't dwell on her past, but offered her a fresh start. That's the same love and mercy He has for you today.

Let's claim that verse together, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We're confident that as you've come to Him with a repentant heart, He's already forgiven and forgotten your past mistakes. It's time to let go of the guilt and shame, and embrace the freedom and peace that comes from walking in His love.

We're praying that you would experience the joy of your salvation more deeply each day. That you would see yourself through God's eyes, as His beloved child, fully forgiven and completely loved. We're believing with you for a future filled with hope and purpose, as you walk in the light of His truth.

Let's declare together, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are not defined by your past, but by the incredible grace and mercy of God, working in and through you.

We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name, that you would experience the fullness of God's love and mercy in your life today and always.
