Dear God thank you for helping me at work today. Thank you for helping me to not drink alcohol now that I am home resting on my bed. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for me today. I appreciate them all so much and I appreciate this beautiful service that allows us to share our needs. Please continue to help me one day at a time to not drink alcohol and to not have any AUD and AWS. Thank you for removing some of the pain in my left arm and elbow and my hand. I will let my doctor know that I don't need to see him unless the pain comes back and gets worse. I just want to be healthy and happy and to be able to take care of my wife and my family and my bosses and coworkers and my customers. Please help me be a better person and a better husband and a better dad to our adult kid's and a better employee to the company that I work for. Please help my wife and our adult son to drink less alcohol and smoke less cigarettes and for my son to be able to not smoke pot anymore. Please continue to help our adult daughter with her marriage and to be able to have a happy and healthy child because she is pregnant and I pray that she will be ok. Please help me get a good night's rest and to be able to wake up early tomorrow morning with a clear mind and a happy heart! Thank you Jesus Christ my lord and Savior. Amen 🙏

We rejoice with you and thank God with you for His help today at work and for His strength to not drink alcohol as you rest at home. We give thanks for His mercy moment by moment and we praise Him for hearing your prayers and for the prayers of others on your behalf. It is a beautiful thing to see a thankful heart that wants to honor God one day at a time.

We are encouraged by your desire to be sober and to be free from alcohol use and withdrawal, and we want to stand with you in this. The Word tells us Ephesians 5:18 Dont be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit and Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. God calls us to be sober and self-controlled as it says in 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We also remember 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or dont you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods. This includes alcohol, cigarettes, and marijuana, which harm the body God gave us and cloud the mind He wants to be clear for Him. We gently encourage you and your wife and your adult son to turn fully from these things, not by willpower alone but by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we pray God will give you all a desire for self-control which is part of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23.

We thank God that He has eased some of the pain in your left arm and elbow and hand. We encourage you to continue to be a good steward of the health God has given you. While we trust God as our healer, He also gives wisdom to doctors and we encourage you not to dismiss medical care too quickly but to follow wise counsel and let your doctor guide you, so that any underlying issue can be properly cared for. Your desire to be healthy and happy so you can care well for your wife and family and serve your bosses and coworkers and customers with integrity is pleasing to God. Remember Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men and Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. God will help you grow as a husband and father and employee as you walk closely with Him.

We also lift up your family with you. We pray for your wife and your adult son that God will give them conviction and strength to drink less and smoke less and for your son to be set free from marijuana completely. We pray for your adult daughter and her marriage, that God would strengthen their union as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors Him, and that He would protect her and the precious child she carries. We remember Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. We pray for a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery and for peace over her home.

We join you in praying for a good nights rest and a clear mind and happy heart in the morning. We love the promise in Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety and in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and we thank You for Your goodness to our brother today. Thank You for helping him at work and for giving him victory over alcohol today. Lord, we ask You to continue this work day by day, keep him sober, remove the craving, heal any effects of alcohol use and withdrawal, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Touch his left arm and hand and bring complete healing, and give him wisdom regarding medical care. Help him to be the husband and father and worker You have called him to be, faithful, loving, and diligent. Lord, we lift up his wife and his adult son, deliver them from dependence on alcohol and cigarettes and marijuana, cleanse their bodies and minds, and draw them closer to You. We lift up his pregnant daughter and her marriage, protect her health and the health of her unborn child, and let that home be built on Your love. Grant our brother peaceful sleep tonight and wake him in the morning refreshed, with a clear mind and a joyful heart to serve You. We thank You for hearing us because we ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We were so encouraged by your thanksgiving today. Thank you for letting us pray with you. We rejoice with you that God helped you through the workday and helped you rest at home without drinking. That one day at a time grace matters, and we thank God for it with you.

We hear your deep desire to stay healthy and to care well for your wife, your adult kids, your coworkers and customers. Wanting to be a better husband, dad and employee is a good and loving desire, and we are praying God keeps strengthening you in it day by day. It helps not to walk this alone, so we are glad you have people praying for you and we encourage you to keep leaning on trusted support around you, whether family, friends, a faith community or a recovery support group, as you take the next right step.

You mentioned the pain in your arm, elbow and hand easing and your hope to stay free from alcohol and withdrawal. We will keep praying for your health and for restful sleep and a clear mind in the morning. Alongside prayer we encourage you to stay in touch with your doctor and be open with him about both the pain and your alcohol use, so he can advise you well on when to be seen and how to stay safe.

Father, thank You for carrying our brother through today at work and at home. Give him rest tonight and strength for tomorrow, one day at a time. Keep him in Your care, ease any pain and give wisdom to him and his doctor as he seeks to stay healthy. Watch over his wife and his son and his daughter and her baby, and draw each of them close to You. Help him keep growing as a husband, father and worker for Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.

Praying that you will sleep well tonight and tomorrow will be a good day for you.
May the Lord bring Peace upon you and your wife. Prayers in Jesus’ name.

📖"For the LORD is good, and His loving devotion endures forever; His faithfulness continues to all generations," Ps 100:5

🙌Father, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise, Ps 100:4. We give thanks to You and Bless Your Name, for it is You who made us, and not we ourselves, we are Your people, and the sheep of Your pasture, Ps 100:3 🐑You make us lie down in green pastures, Ps 23:2, ☘️ we lie down in peace, for You make us dwell in safety, so we can sleep without fear, for You give sleep 💤as a gift, Ps 4:8, Prov 3:24, Ps 127:2. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, even for speaking while we sleep, Joel 2:28-32, Acts 2:14-15, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We rejoice with you in this thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ, for every good gift and every help in time of need comes from His hand. It is a gracious thing to see you resting and giving thanks at the close of the day, and to hear you desire to walk soberly and faithfully before God one day at a time.

We thank God that He has helped you to abstain from alcohol today, and we will join you in asking Him to keep you in that path tomorrow and each day after. Scripture teaches us to be sober minded and to be filled with the Spirit rather than with wine, for our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost and are to be kept for His service. True strength for this battle is not found in our own resolve alone, but in looking to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things. He is not distant, but alive and present as our familiar Friend, and He is able to keep those who look unto Him. Cast your care upon Him when temptation presses, and seek the fellowship and counsel of godly brethren and, where needed, the help of wise medical counsel for withdrawal and dependence, for the Lord often works through such means for our good.

We are glad to hear that some of the pain in your arm and hand has eased, and we pray the Lord will continue to restore you to health and usefulness. Use the health He gives to care well for your wife and family, and to labour faithfully for your employers and customers as unto the Lord. At the same time, we encourage you with love to walk wisely in caring for the body God has given you. If pain returns or worsens, do not hesitate to seek your doctor promptly, for to steward our health is part of honoring God.

We join you in praying for your wife and your adult son, that the Lord would lead them also away from dependence on alcohol and cigarettes and from the use of marijuana, and would give them a desire for that clear mind and clean heart which comes from walking with Christ. And we join you in praying for your adult daughter, for her marriage and for the precious child she carries, that God would grant her health and strength, keep her and her child in safety, and establish her home in love and faithfulness according to His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman.

May the Lord grant you a quiet and refreshing night of sleep, and awaken you in the morning with a clear mind and a happy heart to serve Him. We will continue to pray that He will make you more like Christ in your home and in your work, that you may be a more faithful husband and father and a diligent servant in all He has entrusted to you, not by your own power but by His grace working in you.

We give thanks for you and for all who have prayed for you, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way of salvation, and in whom we have every mercy we need. Amen.
