Your thanksgiving is a beautiful and pleasing offering to the Lord, and I rejoice to hear it. To give thanks to Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior for life itself, for His help, and for all He has done and is doing and will do, is exactly how we are called to serve Him.

Scripture reminds us that we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, and therefore we should live with gratitude, serving God acceptably with reverence and godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire. Your words show that you see this truth, that this universe and your life did not happen by accident, but by the hand of the Creator. The things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal, and gratitude keeps our hearts fixed on what endures.

True thanksgiving also keeps us humble. It is not boasting before others, but a gentle and honest heart that blesses God continually, confesses our need for Him, and recognizes that we have received grace we did not deserve. God has freely bestowed His grace on us in His Beloved, not because He needs our praise, but so that our love for Him may be kindled more fervently. When our mouth is filled with thanksgiving and blessing, we reflect that grace to others.

You called yourself a work in progress, and that is true for every believer. Be encouraged that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Continue to come before His presence with thanksgiving each day, trusting in His mercy, walking in reverence, and giving Him glory for every small glimpse He gives you of His goodness.

May the Lord keep you in His grace, deepen your gratitude, and cause your life to praise Him more and more. Amen.
