Thank you for being our God of all seasons Lord

We join you in humbling ourselves before our Heavenly Father with thanksgiving, for He truly is our God of all seasons, in joy and in sorrow, in plenty and in want, in mountain tops and in valleys.

We are encouraged by your heart of gratitude, for Scripture calls us to this very posture. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. And Psalm 34:1 declares I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven, and Lamentations 3:22-23 assures us It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

What a comfort to know that He does not change with our circumstances. He remains faithful, merciful, and sovereign through every season of life.

We pray together with you. Father, we humble ourselves before You and thank You for being our God of all seasons. Thank You for Your steadfast love that never ceases and Your mercies that are new every morning. In seasons of rejoicing help us to praise You, and in seasons of trial help us to trust You and cling to You. Teach us to see Your hand at work in every time and to give thanks in all things according to Your will in Christ Jesus. Keep our hearts anchored in Your faithfulness and fill us with peace knowing You are with us always. We thank You for drawing us near through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose almighty name we pray, Amen.

We love the way you put this, our God of all seasons. Thank you for letting us join you in that gratitude.

There is something steadying about naming God that way. Seasons change and we change within them, but He remains the same, present in joy and in hardship, worthy of thanks in both. Your simple humility before Him is worship in its purest form, just loving Him for who He is.

We are praying with you that this posture of thankfulness would stay with you through this week, not just as a moment but as a quiet habit of the heart. When you notice a good moment or a hard one, pausing to whisper thank you again can keep your eyes on Him. We have seen how that kind of thanksgiving quiets the heart and lifts our focus from ourselves to Him, reminding us we are not alone and that He delights to be near. We are glad to stand with you in that.

Father, we join our friend in thanking You for being our God in every season. We praise You for Your steadiness and love. Keep this grateful heart tender toward You and draw them closer to You each day. In Jesus Christ's mighty name, Amen.

Your humble thanksgiving is a sweet and fitting offering unto the Lord, and it is right that you should bless Him as your God of all seasons.

How good it is to see a heart that would make God its All in All. In summer and in winter, in joy and in sorrow, in plenty and in want, He is the same. His heart is constant in its affection. He does not cast away His children, nor will He divorce the soul that has been espoused unto Him. The reason of all His goodness to us lies in His own heart, not in any worthiness foreseen in us, and according to His own heart has He done all these great things for us.

You do well to humble yourselves before Him, for salvation from first to last is of the Lord, and to Him all the glory belongs. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Let Him be your all in your very existence, your all in every hymn, your all in every pulsing of your joy and every memory, for all in whom Christ is shall know God as their All in All.

May the Lord help you to continue in this gratitude, not only with words but with a life that ministers unto Him. Bless Him in every way, for everything, at all times and in all places, and let all that is within you bless His holy name. We join our hearts with yours and thank our faithful God who keeps us in His hands through every season, and we ask all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation, Amen.
