Thank you for acting as our rock and shield against all evil Lord

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for being our rock and shield against all evil and we humble ourselves before Him with you in gratitude.

It is beautiful to call Him our rock and shield, for that is who He reveals Himself to be. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 18:2, The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. And again in Psalm 3:3, But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. He is not only a refuge in times of trouble but our constant protection, and as 2 Thessalonians 3:3 tells us, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

We thank God that you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find salvation and safety.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we humble ourselves before You and we thank You with grateful hearts for being our rock and our shield against all evil. Thank You for Your faithfulness to guard us, to establish us, and to deliver us from the schemes of the enemy. We rest in You as our fortress and our high tower, knowing that no evil can prevail against those who take refuge in You. Continue to be our strength and our protection each day, help us to walk in obedience and trust, putting on the full armor You have provided, and keep our hearts steadfast in Your love. We ask this in the almighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Him daily, dwelling in His presence and trusting in His perfect ways, for Deuteronomy 32:4 says He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. May you find ever increasing peace as you remain under the shelter of His wings.

We are grateful you shared this prayer with us. Hearing you call God your rock and shield is encouraging and we join you in giving thanks for His steady protection.

There is something powerful about stopping to notice and name what God has done. It quiets our hearts and reminds us we are not alone, that we are seen and cared for. When we turn our thanks into simple worship, even a few quiet words or a song during the day, it helps hope take root again and carries us through harder moments. It is a gift to pause with you and echo your words back to the Lord.

If this thanksgiving has been on your heart, you might keep it close by making it a short daily habit. Before the day begins or as it ends, take a moment to tell the Lord again in your own words, thank you for being my rock and shield today. Over time that small practice can shape how you see each day and keep your attention on His nearness.

Father, we thank You with our friend for being a rock and shield against evil. We praise You for Your faithful care and for hearing every prayer offered in Jesus' name. Keep drawing them close to You, give peace and confidence in Your presence, and be their refuge and strength each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your humble thanksgiving is good and acceptable before the Lord, for you have set your heart upon that which is true. To call Him your Rock and your Shield against all evil is to speak according to Scripture, and to give honour where honour is due.

You have done well to remember that He is the Rock that is higher than you. When the heart is overwhelmed, and when you are as one at the end of the earth far from all creature help, there is still this cry that prevails, Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. He is not a mound raised by man, but a Rock that shall stand forever, and he who rests upon Christ is covered from head to foot. And you have done well to take up the shield of faith, for above all you must take that shield. It quenches the fiery darts of the wicked one, it turns the attack itself into comfort, and it preserves from all sorts of enemies. Whether it be Satan as the accuser, or the world, or conscience, or the law, the answer of faith is still the same, It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God. See to your shield and hold it fast, for the rule of this warfare is that you must either come back with your shield or be brought back upon it, but you must never cast it away.

May the Lord keep you in this confidence, resting with a full and firm reliance upon the faithfulness of God, free from mistrust and fear, simply resting in Him whose mercy endures forever. May He daily teach you to look to that Cross which is your true heraldry, indented with many a blow yet honorable with triumph, until you stand before the Throne.

We join our prayer with yours and give thanks with you. O Lord our Rock and Shield, we humbly bow before Thee and bless Thy name that Thou hast been our defence against all evil. Keep these Thy people under the shadow of Thy wing, cover them with faith, and lead them ever to that Rock which is higher than they, even Jesus Christ Thy Son, in whose almighty name we pray. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your thanksgiving is good and right before God, and we join you in it with joy. To call Him your rock and your shield against all evil is to speak the truth, for He is our refuge from the affliction that surrounds us and the one with whom we fear no evil.

Continue to rest in Him as the Psalm says, return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. When days feel evil, remember that evil is not a nature that exists by itself and not something God created, but comes from the wicked choices of men and the workings of the evil one. The devil desires to destroy and to bring fear, yet he has no power to touch even the smallest thing without permission from God, and Christ has shown His power to cast out every evil and to make the arts of the enemy useless.

So we give thanks with you that in Jesus Christ you have a sure defense, and we pray that the Lord will keep you in that shelter, guard your heart and mind in peace, and strengthen you to walk in what is good. May He keep you close to Himself, uphold you by His hand, and let you see more and more of His bountiful care each day. In Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Your prayer of thanksgiving is right and pleasing to the Lord, and it is good to join you in giving thanks that He is your rock and your shield against evil.

Scripture teaches that the beginning of wisdom is not learning to live at peace with evil or to tolerate it, but to hate it as God hates it. To fear the Lord is to turn away from what destroys you and what harms others. Wisdom leads us away from the path that looks attractive for a moment but ends in harm. That is why the call through the Scriptures is so clear to depart from evil, to avoid the way of those who do wrong, to turn from it and not even go near it.

The Lord honors that turning. His eyes are upon those who are His and His ears are open to their cry. Those who love Him learn to love what He loves and to hate what He hates, and He in turn preserves and keeps them. The wise person sees the danger ahead and hides himself in the refuge God has provided through Jesus Christ. That refuge is sure. He does not just watch from a distance, He is Himself the rock on which you stand and the shield that covers you, and He is able to deliver from evil and to give quietness from the fear of it.

May the Lord continue to be your strength and your protection. May He give you a growing love for what is good and a settled hatred for what is evil, and may He lead you daily to walk away from what would harm you and toward what brings life and peace. As you keep your heart and your tongue and your steps turned toward Him, may you know more deeply His keeping power, His health to your life, and His peace in your heart.

Father, we thank You that You are a rock and a shield. We thank You for Your mercy and Your holiness and for the protection You give to those who trust in Jesus. Keep this dear one close to You, teach them to depart from evil and to seek what is good, and let them rest in quiet confidence that You are watching over them and preserving them. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
