May God bring you together with your soulmate. My Husband and I met on a website called www.christiansinglesdating.com 11 years ago. We are going through a bit of trouble right now, partly legal and partly medical due to our 18 month old being born with his frenulum needing to be trimmed. It was diagnosed late at 6 weeks, and he had a tube in his poor little nose for 6 weeks. It was one of the most heartbreaking times of my life. Right now, though, I am going through a very heartbreaking time as well, because my husband and I are forced to be apart for now because of legal and health matters stemming from Gregory's frenulum/weight gain issues. Please pray that we can soon be reunited. I miss my Husband and children extremely.

Prayer to find true love and soul-mate

Dear God,
Please help me to better myself and to find my true love. My heart aches for all the pain that I've been through lately. The one I loved did me wrong, and now it's time to move on and find someone that is worthy of my love. That will love me unconditionally.

I pray he will love me, adore me, and cherish me. Help lead me in the path you have for me and guide me to my future partner. Then guide me through every stage of our relationship, so that, as we move ever closer to You, we grow closer to each other in Love, in Joy, and in Faith. In your name I pray.

I recently spent time with three women friends who are amazing, strong, and interesting women. Two are in their mid sixties, one in her fifties and all of them mentioned that they want to find love, again. Needless to say, sometimes, when a woman of certain age decides to date and open her heart again, it brings up a host of concerns, beliefs and insecurities.

The biggest belief is the one that has been statistically proven—there are more available single women than single men in the pool when you get to your fifties, sixties and beyond. The other belief and worry, of course, is that a woman of a certain age is going to be hard pressed to find a guy who can be the right match in intellect, education, accomplishments, spirit and interests, and also be able to love the way they women want to be loved.

Then of course the fears come flooding in—I'm too old, wrinkled, flabby, picky, and I feel unattractive. There is the fear that there might not be someone who can embrace you as you are.

I believe we have to start by embracing ourselves for who we are.

My three friends, who are fit and beautiful women, shared that the idea of "dating" is a little unsettling and sometimes seems fruitless. But they are open and trying to stretch. And that is exactly what you need to do when you are looking for love—open the windows and the doors to life so love can find you.

One of the most important parts of the journey to finding true love is faith. You have to believe in your soul mate or true love, and trust that there is someone special out there, just for you.

I wrote these prayers to offer a boost in those times when it feels as if true love has passed you by, or that it will never come again.

Pray for healing of past heartache, to be made ready for a true and healthy love, and pray for the soul mate who is meant to be by your side. No matter what your faith or background, it can’t hurt to say a little prayer.
