We rejoice with you and thank our Father with you for leading you to an answer after decades of trying to explain what you have been carrying. We know how discouraging it can be to feel unseen or unheard by doctors, and we praise God that He sees what is hidden and cares about every detail of your suffering. He gives wisdom generously to those who ask, for it is written, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

We hear how heavy your body feels, how even lifting a blanket can feel like a hundred pounds and how moving takes such willpower, and how you have kept fighting with a high pain tolerance and determination to keep walking when you can. The Lord knows this weariness intimately and He has not left you to bear it alone. He gives power to the faint. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29 and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. When you describe feeling like you are in a gravity room, we are reminded of His promise, but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. And we cling with you to the truth that He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 and I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.

We also thank God that you came to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the throne of grace, and we join our faith with yours in that precious name.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy and for guiding our dear one to a concept and language that may finally help doctors understand this long hidden condition. We ask in Jesus name that You give wisdom and discernment to the doctors on Monday and Tuesday, that they would listen with compassion, understand clearly, and be guided to right testing and care. Lord, You know the burden of the long bus rides, three hours each way and the walk of almost a mile while feeling so heavy and tired. We ask You to provide strength for each step, to sustain this body that is already weary from just seeing a doctor yesterday. Come to this weary one as You promised, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. Renew strength, ease the exhaustion, lessen the pain, and carry what feels too heavy to carry. We ask You to open a door for provision for transportation, whether through Your people, the church, or other help, so this burden is not so great. We thank You for the perseverance You have already given to keep fighting and walking when able, and we ask You to continue to heal and uphold, for You are the One who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. Let Your will be done and let Your grace be felt in a tangible way on Monday and Tuesday and in the days of recovery after. We trust You with this hidden condition and ask for answers, for rest, and for hope. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to share what you learned with your doctor plainly and also to let trusted believers or your church family know about the transportation need, so they can help bear this burden with you. Keep resting when you need to recover and keep waiting on the Lord to renew your strength day by day. We are continuing to pray for stamina for the journeys ahead and for clear direction toward healing.

We were so encouraged to hear the relief you felt finding that video after trying for so long to explain what you experience to doctors. It makes sense that having words for it feels like an answer, and we are glad you have something concrete you can point your doctor to and discuss together.

What you describe sounds exhausting, when even lifting a blanket feels like a hundred pounds and it takes so much willpower just to move your body, and then facing a three hour bus ride each way plus a long walk while feeling that heaviness. We notice the perseverance the Lord has already given you, you keep walking when you can and you keep fighting it head on even while very tired, and you have come this far with His help.

For Monday and Tuesday, since those appointments are back to back and you usually need days to recover after a visit, it may help to write a short note beforehand to hand to the doctor, a few examples of what a tired day is like, how long recovery takes, and the title or link to the video you found, so you do not have to explain everything while you are worn out. You could also ask the clinic if there is a patient advocate or social worker who knows about other ride options now that the Uber help has ended, or if any follow up could be handled a different way. We are glad you are bringing this to your doctor and we encourage you to keep working closely with them.

Father, thank You for carrying Your child this far. We ask for strength for each step on Monday and Tuesday, for clear understanding between him and his doctors, and for time and grace to rest afterward. Keep him in Your peace and care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been read with sincere thankfulness and tender sympathy, and I thank God with you that after decades of weariness and of trying to make your burden understood, He has given you a little light and a name to put to your suffering. To feel the blanket as a hundred pounds, to need great willpower for the smallest movement, to walk when you can though every step is as in a gravity room, this is a heavy trial indeed, and the Lord sees it all.

Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, and apart from God it is not strength at all. But the word of the Lord stands, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then is the time to fling yourself upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it. For it is written that He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength, and God Himself says, I will strengthen them in the Lord. The glory of our strength lies not in ourselves but in God alone.

You speak of needing to ride three hours each way and then to walk near a mile, and of having to go again on Monday and Tuesday with so little time to recover from yesterday. This would weary the strongest, how much more one whose body is already so tried. Yet to wait upon the Lord is not to sit in mere passivity, but to look to Him, to trust Him, to cry to Him for life and for daily help. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.

There are healing leaves upon the tree of life, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He is our heavenly Physician, and whether He sees fit to lift the bodily infirmity at once or to sustain you through it, His grace can change the life blood and renew the spirit. Come to Him in faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God, and remember that when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Pardon and healing flow from the same pierced hand.

I will pray with you and for you. May the Lord give you sustaining strength for Monday and Tuesday, may He guard your going and your coming on those long bus rides and that final walk, and may He grant you merciful recovery between. May He give wisdom to your doctors, that they may listen well and discern rightly what you have been so long trying to tell them, and may He guide them to wise and compassionate care. Above all, may He renew your inner man day by day, that even in weariness you may prove that His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Take your burden to Christ just as you are, a guilty, weak and helpless one, and fall upon His kind arms. He is your strength and your righteousness, your Jesus and your all. Wait upon Him, and He will not fail you.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I thank God with you that you have found words that help describe what you have carried for so long. It is a mercy when confusion begins to lift and you can point your doctor to something clear to consider, and I pray God will give your doctors wisdom and attention as you share what you have learned with them.

I hear how heavy this burden has been. To feel a blanket as if it weighs one hundred pounds, to need great willpower simply to move, to feel as though you are living in a gravity room, and then to face long bus rides and a walk of almost a mile when you are already exhausted, is truly hard. That you keep walking when you can and keep resisting this tiredness with the strength you have shows great endurance, and God sees every step you take and every effort it costs you. It is also understandable that you need days or weeks to recover after a visit, and that facing appointments on Monday and Tuesday back to back feels overwhelming.

Scripture teaches that God's grace is sufficient for us and His power is made perfect in weakness. That does not mean the weakness is not real or painful, but that He is present in it and able to sustain you when your own strength feels gone. Endurance is itself a gift He forms in us as we keep looking to Him, praying, and persevering one day at a time. Even when many prayers and many efforts seem to bear little fruit at first, God is still at work, and He can renew strength in ways we do not expect.

So I join you in prayer now. Father in heaven, I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the tiredness that comes without warning, the weight and strain of simple movements, and the cost of travel to get care. Grant fresh strength for Monday and Tuesday, for each bus ride and each step of the walk. Uphold this body, calm the pain, and grant recovery and rest between these visits. Give the doctors understanding, clarity, and care as they listen and seek answers. Provide help and provision for transportation and for daily needs. Let Your nearness be felt in the weariness, and let Your sustaining power carry where human willpower reaches its limit. Help this one to keep hoping in You, to rest when rest is needed, and to trust that You hear every prayer.

We will continue to pray for you. Keep bringing your needs to the Lord honestly as you have done, keep working patiently with your doctors, and allow others to help you when help is offered. The Lord who hears you is faithful, and He will not leave you without the strength you need for each day He gives.

Your gratitude to God is encouraging to read, and it is good that you have found language that may help doctors better understand what you have carried for so many years. Decades of trying to explain exhaustion that others cannot see is a heavy burden, and to have a name or concept to point to can be a real help as you seek care.

What you describe, where even lifting a blanket feels like a great weight and moving your body takes such willpower, shows how limited physical strength can be. Scripture is honest about this. There are physical laws that govern our bodies, and we feel them every day. But there are also spiritual realities, and one of them is that true strength is not found in horses or armies or in our own resolve alone, but in the Lord. In His hand is power and might, and it is in His hand to give strength to all. When our own strength is spent, His is not.

That is why the Bible urges us to seek the Lord and His strength, and to seek His face continually. It also calls us to remember His marvelous works, the ways He has already helped and carried you. You said you have come this far with His help, and that memory is important. Remembering what He has done builds faith for what is still ahead. Another part of that same teaching is to give unto the Lord glory and strength, to offer Him our lives and our praise even in weakness, and to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. Strength and gladness are in His presence.

You mentioned fighting this head on with willpower and a high tolerance for pain, and your determination to keep walking when you can is commendable. Yet even the strongest and most fleet footed grow weary. God does not ask you to rely only on willpower. He invites you to depend on Him for strength day by day. That dependence is not weakness, it is wisdom.

I will pray for you as you face these next appointments. May the Lord give you sustaining strength for the long bus rides and the walk that follows, and may He guard you from further exhaustion when you normally need days or weeks to recover. Praying that He will give you clear words for the doctors and give them understanding and care as you point them to what you have learned, and that He will provide rest and renewal between visits.

May He who gives power to the faint and increases strength to those who have no might uphold you step by step, and may you know His nearness and peace as you continue to seek Him. In Jesus name, amen.
