Thank You Father, for my dad...

God I come before You this day, thanking You for the life of my father, and his impact on my life. He passed from this life 16 years ago today, but I know he is safe with You, and that one day I will be with him again. I praise You for giving me a father who knew when to be tender and when to be firm, a man whose faith was deep and clearly evident in all that he did, a man who always put others before himself, a true daddy who made me feel like his princess. I have to praise You also for the power of music to help us heal. My dad's love of music truly rubbed off on me, and I am amazed at how You use it as a compass in my life, an encouragement, a release. Thank You for the song I heard today that allowed me to have a very cleansing cry...and the one a little later than brought very warm, comforting memories of my times with my papa. My prayer this day is that all families would treasure one another for the gifts that they are, and absorb as much family time as they possibly can with one another. I pray that if there is any doubt about a loved one's salvation that You would give us a bold spirit to ask, as helping them to find the Lord is our charge if they have not already done so. Help us assure that we all rest in heaven with You when our earthly lives are over. Let us never let take our family for granted. You blessed us with one another; may we honor You in our care for one another. I pray You can see the smile on my heart, God ~ again, praise You for giving me such a beautiful man to call my dad. Lord, I lift K-J and her family to you Lord, May she Praise your Name for Her Father is with You Lord, Give her your Peace and Encouragement Lord, Wrap her in your Loving Arms Lord, for she is Truly Your Daughter Lord and a great friend and inspiration to me and to us all on this site Lord, Encompass K-J in your Divine Love and Peace Just Now, We Love her Lord and We All Know You Love her Lord More, for she is Your Faithful Daughter Lord, In Jesus Name Amen

Lord, I touch these prayers and stand with K-J. I thank you that both of our fathers are in your loving care, enjoying the riches of heaven's home. How I look forward to seeing my father again and I thank you for saving him. Lord, give K-J a little extra strength as she meditates on the influence her father... and mother.... had in her life. You have made her strong, loving and caring. Bless her Lord as she continues her life's journey on earth. Wrap your loving arms around her. Protect her from the enemy and give her peace knowing you are in control of all things in her life. I join her in her prayer for families, that they would treasure their time together for all too song, children grow up and start their own lives. I pray that people would protect their family bonds as best they can and to tell their children they are loved and treasured. Lord, we thank you and praise you for this post. May it touch someone's heart today.To you be the glory. Amen
