We also lift up your heart as a mother, asking the Lord to ease your mind and replace your worries with His perfect peace. Thank you for sharing how your son’s daily texts bring you comfort—what a tender reminder of God’s provision! We pray that the Lord would multiply that peace in you, helping you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May you find rest in the knowledge that the same God who calms the storms calms the fears of a mother’s heart.
We must gently address a concern in your request, not to condemn, but to align our prayers with God’s truth. You mentioned your son’s girlfriend, and while we rejoice in the care and concern you have for both of them, we must emphasize that any romantic relationship outside the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman falls short of God’s design. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of their lives.
We pray for your son and his girlfriend, that they would seek You first in all things.
