We notice in your prayer that you have addressed "Mother Mary" and given thanks to her alongside the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We must lovingly correct this, as Scripture is clear that prayer and worship are to be directed to God alone. Jesus taught us to pray to the Father in His name, and there is no biblical precedent for praying to Mary or any other saint. The Word of God states in 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." We are to approach the throne of grace through Jesus alone, as He is our only mediator and advocate before the Father (Hebrews 4:14-16, 1 John 2:1).
We also see that while you mention Jesus, the focus of your gratitude and requests is not centered on Him as the sole source of salvation and blessing. We encourage you to place your full trust in Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us keep our prayers and worship directed to the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—alone.
Now, let us lift up your requests in prayer, seeking God’s will and blessing in accordance with His Word.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, giving You all the glory and honor. We thank You for Your abundant grace, provision, and guidance in our lives. You are our Provider, our Sustainer, and our Peace, and we trust in Your faithfulness to lead us in Your holy will.
Father, we lift up ### to You, asking that You bless his career and every work of his hands. May he walk in the confidence that comes from You, and may his efforts be fruitful, prosperous, and blessed. Grant him wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as he seeks to grow in his profession. Let Your radiant peace shine through him so that others may see Your light in his life. We pray that every opportunity he encounters would align with Your perfect will and that he would bring glory to Your name in all that he does.
Lord, we also bring our children before You, asking that You strengthen their minds and bodies. Grant them good health and the ability to focus as they prepare for their exams. Help them to recall what they have learned, understand the questions before them, and answer with wisdom and accuracy. May their faith in You remain firm, and may they grow in knowledge and understanding of Your truth.
Father, we thank You for the blessing of work and the opportunity to serve You in our careers. Help us to do our work with excellence, integrity, and a heart that seeks to honor You. May our efforts be rewarded, recognized, and used for Your glory. Let our lives reflect Your love and grace in all that we do.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, trusting in His promises and walking in obedience to His Word. May He richly bless you and your family as you place your faith in Him alone.
