We notice in your prayer that you have addressed "mother Mary" and "aba father" alongside the Holy Trinity. While we honor the reverence you have for the Lord, we must gently correct this approach with Scripture. There is only one mediator between God and humanity, and that is Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times." We do not pray to or through Mary or any other saint, as this is not biblical. Our prayers must be directed to the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

You cry out to God for blessing upon your family and career, and that is well; but you have coupled with the holy name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, a name that has no place in divine worship, that of Mary, the mother of our Lord’s humanity. She herself would rebuke you, for she pointed to her Son, saying, "Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it." It is a grievous error, and one that mars true prayer, to present petitions to any save the one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. The Scriptures know no “mother mary” in the Godhead; turn from this vain addition with tears, and direct your pleas solely to the throne of grace through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Yet I trust you do indeed look to the Lord for mercy and guidance, and I would cheer you in that. The prosperity of your hands, the blessing upon your children, the wisdom you seek in decision, all these are found not in a career itself, but in the favour of God. Let these words take root in your heart: trust in God, for that is true wisdom. A grain of Divine Grace is worth more than a ton of worldly knowledge. The path of success is not in the cunning of the world, but in simply trusting in God; yet only he who is born of God can so trust. First be made a child of God, and then you may cast your cares upon Him.

You pray for your children’s concentration and growth. Do you seek their conversion as the chief end? There is no education like the fear of the Lord. Go on, keep praying for your children, that the pleasure of the Lord may prosper in Christ’s hands in their salvation. Be not content with worldly success; hunger after their souls being fed and their hearts being made new.

You also seek a successful career that you might do God’s holy will. That prayer God delights to answer, but see to it that you walk in His ways. The Holy Spirit works within you, and you must also labour. Grace does not lull you into sloth; you must be up and doing, watching diligently. Yet you cannot walk wisely except He guide you. Bow with submission to the Divine will, and you will be furnished with unerring guidance. Haste and carnal wisdom are the authors of mischief; holiness is akin to perfect wisdom, and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Therefore, be not content with asking for mere worldly prosperity. Oh that your soul might cry out, “Prosper Zion, Lord, build up thy Jerusalem!” The true prosperity is when souls are saved, when the Holy Spirit breaks hard hearts, when the children of God are sanctified. Let that be your first desire. And then, in answer to prayer, your heavenly Father can make the work of your hands prosperous without violating a single law of His providence. He can give you surprise deliverances. Only see that your confidence is fixed in Christ alone. If I have spoken plainly, it is love that constrains me. May the Lord lead you into all truth, and make your household a tabernacle of His praise.

You seek wisdom for your career and your family, but you must understand what true wisdom is and from whom all blessing flows. The Apostle says, "We speak wisdom among the perfect, yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, which are coming to naught; but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory." That mystery is Christ Himself, who was made unto us wisdom from God. There is no other wisdom by which your work can prosper, or your children learn understanding, or your decisions be kept from temptation. The wisdom that seems impressive to men, multiplied words, reliance on any created being, will-worship and severity of the body, these have indeed a show of wisdom, but they lack the truth and power of God.

Turn away from every addition to the one foundation. Christ alone is the Head of His body, the Church; He alone is the mediator between God and men. You call upon one who was blessed among women, yet even she would direct you to her Son, saying, "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it." The foolishness of God is wiser than men; the way He has chosen, by the Cross, by grace through faith, confounds all human devising. If you would have peace in your family and success in your labors according to His holy will, then let your prayers be offered simply and humbly, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to the Father alone. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise; that is the head of all virtue, the mother of true wisdom.

Do not be carried away with a show of piety that lacks the power of the gospel. For not everyone who multiplies words shall be heard, but he who trusts wholly in God's electing love and walks in the humility that trembles at His word. Seek this wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. Then every project, every client, every tender shall indeed be blessed, not because you have used many names, but because you have anchored your soul in Christ, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. Let Him be the wisdom and the power of your life, and He will lead you in the way everlasting.

It is a good thing to bring every part of your life before God, thanking Him for His care over your family, your work, and your children. The desire for His guidance and blessing is right, and He delights to hear us acknowledge our dependence on Him. The rescue of Israel from Egypt was a story told over and over so that the children would ask, "What does this mean?" The answer always pointed back to God's mighty hand: He brought them out with strength, He was their provider, He hovered over them in the wilderness like an eagle over her young. Let that same story shape your prayers. The most important thing you can pass on to your children is not just a successful career or good grades, but a living knowledge that the Lord is the one who delivers, provides, and leads.

You have asked for wisdom in decisions and for protection from temptation. Temptation often whispers that you can find immediate fulfillment by stepping just a little off God's path. The testing of your faith is meant to produce patience and maturity, not to see you fail. When the pressure comes, remember that the sin lies not in being tempted, but in giving in. Continue fixing your eyes on the perfect law of liberty and being a doer of the work, not a forgetful hearer. God is not asking you to strive anxiously to earn His favor. The work of redemption is finished. Jesus completed it on the cross. When you rest in that finished work, your career, your parenting, and your daily labor flow from a place of security, not from a desperate need to prove yourself.

Now, about your children. You pray for their concentration, their brightness, their success in school. Those are not wrong requests, but be careful that your ultimate goal for them does not shrink to a merely pagan ambition: a good education, a prosperous career, a comfortable life. Aim higher. Would you rather have them walk with the Lord in a very ordinary job than possess every earthly honor while their hearts are far from Him? Train them diligently in the words of God. Teach them honor and obedience, but do it according to their own temperaments, with wisdom and patience rather than constant frustration. When they stumble, and they will, be the parent who calmly says, "Get up now, honey," and points them back to God's faithfulness.

As for success in your work and your career, remember where true prosperity comes from. The key is not sharper strategy or sheer effort; it is this: "I will be with thee." When the Lord works with you, even a long night of empty nets can turn into a miraculous haul. But be on guard against the pride that wants to take the glory. God wants to do His work in and through you, but He insists that the glory remains His own. Guard your heart as you walk into meetings, projects, and every interaction. Let your confidence rest not in your abilities but in His presence and His law, which is the real law of prosperity.
