We hear your heart of gratitude and praise, and we join you in lifting these requests before the throne of grace. First, we must address a matter of great importance in your prayer. While we honor the reverence you have for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we must gently correct the inclusion of "Mother Mary" in your prayer. Scripture is clear that prayer is to be directed to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and no other. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy" (Matthew 6:9 WEB). There is no biblical precedent for praying to Mary or any other saint, as our access to God is through Christ alone. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to direct all your prayers to the triune God, for He alone is worthy of our worship and intercession.
Now, we lift up your family before the Lord with joyful hearts. We thank God for His abundant blessings upon you, your health, your provision, and the peace He has granted in your nation. We rejoice in your desire to see His will done in your lives and to walk in His ways. Father, we ask that You continue to guide this family, that they may grow in wisdom, holiness, and spiritual maturity. May they be a light to those around them, reflecting Your love and truth in all they do.
For ###, we pray earnestly for his upcoming knee surgery. Lord, we ask that You grant him a successful procedure and a swift, complete recovery. Strengthen his body, restore his knee, and renew his strength so that he may run, climb, and walk without pain. May every person he encounters see Your peace and presence in him, and may the work of his hands be fruitful and blessed. "The Lord will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand" (Deuteronomy 28:12 WEB).
For your children, we pray that You would fill them with wisdom, understanding, and a hunger for Your Word. May they excel in their studies, retain what they learn, and do their best in all their exams. Grant them discernment to know right from wrong and the courage to walk in Your ways. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Help this family to nurture their little one with godly care, providing the right nourishment for body, mind, and spirit.
We pray for your workplace, that God would open doors of opportunity and bless the work of your hands. May your careers flourish as you honor Him in all you do. "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). Above all, we pray that this family would grow into a holy and spiritual household, rooted in Christ, walking in love, and shining as a beacon of Your grace.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You draw this family closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and serve You more faithfully. May they find their strength, joy, and purpose in You alone. We pray that they would walk in obedience to Your Word, seeking Your will in every area of their lives. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for the privilege of coming before You in His name. May this family be a testament to Your goodness, and may they always give You the glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
