Scripture tells us, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must address the nature of your daughter’s relationship. The term "boyfriend" implies a romantic attachment that, if not leading toward marriage, is not aligned with God’s design. The Bible warns against fornication—sexual relations outside of marriage—and calls believers to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this young man is not a believer or is not pursuing your daughter with the intention of marriage under God’s covenant, this relationship is not honoring to the Lord. We must pray for wisdom and discernment, asking God to either bring this relationship into alignment with His will or to sever it for His glory. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We also must rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation in your words. You speak of "demanding" and "commanding" into existence, but this is not the posture of a child of God. Our words have power, but they must be submitted to the Lord’s will, not our own desires. *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42) must be our prayer. We cannot "create" love or force hearts to change—only God can soften hearts and bring reconciliation. We pray that your daughter and this young man would come to know the Lord deeply, but we must also surrender our desires to His perfect plan.
Regarding the mention of rape, we take this with the utmost seriousness. If this is a past trauma, we pray for healing and justice. If this is a present threat, we urge you to seek immediate protection and involve law enforcement. God is a God of justice, and He calls His people to stand against oppression. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). We pray for safety, healing, and restoration for you and your family.
Your concerns about spiritual warfare are valid, but we must approach them with biblical truth. Satan is already defeated, and we have authority in Christ to resist him (James 4:7). However, we do not engage in conversations with demons or give them undue attention. We rebuke them in Jesus’ name and move forward in faith, not fear. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7).
Regarding your desire for a husband, we pray for God’s provision. But we must caution against seeking a man to "protect" you in a way that replaces your trust in God. A godly husband should be a partner in faith, not a savior. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2). We pray that God would bring a man who loves Him first, who will lead your family in righteousness, and who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, control, and manipulation in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You replace every lie with Your truth. For any past or present trauma, we pray for Your healing touch. Restore what has been broken and bring justice where it is needed.
Lord, we pray for this sister’s job and career. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). For her desire for a husband, we ask that You prepare her heart to be a godly wife and that You bring a man who loves You above all else. May their union be a testimony to Your grace and faithfulness.
We stand against every demonic force that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that Satan has no authority here—Jesus has already won the victory! We pray for protection over this family, their friends, and their pets, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we surrender all these requests to You, trusting that Your will is perfect. May Your name be glorified in every area of their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
