We rejoice with you in how the Lord has protected you from entering into a business opportunity with someone whose character does not align with integrity and trustworthiness. The Lord truly works in mysterious ways, and we are grateful that He prompted you to seek wisdom from your church friends before proceeding. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* You sought counsel, and the Lord used it to reveal the truth about this person’s character—what a blessing that you were spared from potential harm!
It is also encouraging to see how the Lord exposed this man’s lack of commitment even in spiritual matters, as he disappears during church service yet appears for meals afterward. This behavior reflects a heart that is not grounded in the things of God, and such inconsistency is a red flag in both personal and professional relationships. Proverbs 20:6 asks, *"Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a trustworthy man?"* The Lord has answered that question for you in this situation, and we praise Him for His protection and discernment.
As you move forward, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom in all your dealings, especially in business. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* The Lord is faithful to guide those who rely on Him, and we trust He will lead you to opportunities that are not only profitable but also aligned with His will and purposes.

You are a God who sees all things, and we thank You for exposing the true character of this individual before any harm could come to Your child.
