Last Monday I was on the highway on my way to an appointment. I never arrived at my appointment that afternoon.
I was suddenly experiencing a big "boum" against my car, did not know what happened, and lost the control of the wheel without realizing what exactly had happened.
The highway had five lanes and there was pretty much traffic. I was in lane 2 and the traffic was slower because there were many people on the road. My car swirled to lane 5, bumped against the border of the highway and then turned with its nose towards the traffic. When I started looking around me I realized I was sitting in the passenger seat, not knowing how I ended up sitting in a normal sitting position in the passenger seat. The traffic of the whole highway was at a standstill, police and ambulance came. Friendly people came to see if I was alright... but the doors were too difficult to open easily. The whole back of the car was folded inside my car up to where the front seats are, both back tires punctured from the metal.
The police opened the door and then I heard that a van had hit me in the back and also hit a truck after that.
I thank the Lord, it is so amazing that no other car has hit me on the side of the car while I was swirling... because there were so many cars....!!!!
My nose was bleeding and I felt aches everywhere, did not know if my back was alright... I was carried to the hospital where they took scans and apparently I am basically alright, just some effects from the jolt, which may still take a while to heal but I have nothing that won't heal eventually, so I am told.
I was not ready to speak publicly about my accident till today. But I do feel like giving publicly thanks to the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness that He has saved my life!
It's His love that has saved me! He deserves all the praise!
