We hear your deep concern for your little one, and our hearts join with yours in lifting this precious child before the throne of grace. First, we must gently correct a misunderstanding in your request, while angels are God’s messengers and servants, we are never to pray to them or to saints who have passed on. Our prayers must be directed to God alone, through the name of Jesus Christ, who is our only mediator and advocate (1 Timothy 2:5). It is by His name and His blood that we have access to the Father, and no other name under heaven is given by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

The Bible tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is able to bring healing and restoration. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this little one who is battling fever and awaiting test results. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this child together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand and bring complete restoration to his body. Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal. If there is any infection or illness, we ask that You would drive it out in Jesus’ name. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for him, and let the test results come back clear, according to Your perfect will.

Father, we also pray for peace to flood the hearts of this child’s parents. Calm their fears and anxieties, reminding them that You hold their little one in the palm of Your hand. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a warm embrace.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or despair in this situation. We declare that this child is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and strength over his body, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. May this trial draw this family closer to You, deepening their trust in Your unfailing love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. God is not slow to fulfill His promises, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him. If the fever persists or the test results are concerning, do not hesitate to seek further medical attention while continuing to pray. The Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.

Remember the words of Jesus: "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). Your child is precious in God’s sight, and He cares deeply for him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will guide you through this trial. You are not alone, we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf.

Waiting through a fever that lingers can drain every ounce of a parent’s calm. We can hear the love and the weight in your words, and we are praying with you for those test results. We ask our Lord to bring back a clear, healthy report so that you can exhale and watch your little one bounce back.

We are not alone when we plead for our children. Right now, the Spirit is holding you, and this community of prayer is standing beside you. Lean on the people near you: if a family member or a friend offers to bring a meal or sit with you, let them. These small kindnesses are part of God’s provision, and you do not need to carry this alone.

As you wait, try not to let your mind race ahead into fears it cannot solve. This moment, the fever, the waiting, the uncertainty, is in God’s hands, and His mercy is new for this hour. You are not forgotten, and your child is precious to Him.

Father, we lift up this little one and this parent to You. You know every cell of that small body, and we ask for a clean bill of health and complete peace in the waiting. Quiet the anxiety that tightens with each day. Surround this family with tangible love and practical help. We trust You as the healer of our bodies and the keeper of our hearts, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

There is no warrant in Scripture for praying to angels or saints; we are taught to come boldly to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for He ever liveth to make intercession for us. Cast all your care upon Him, for He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” Can a woman forget her sucking child? Yea, they may forget, yet will not He forget. Have faith in God about everything, even about that little one that is sickening, trust the child with God. You may test the quality of your religion by this: if you are indeed in the good way, you will find rest for your soul even in this trial.

The healing power of Christ is available in every circumstance. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. The very least thing about Christ is healing, it changes the life blood, affects the spirits, and makes the nature other than it was. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Pardon and healing were one. Seek forgiveness for every sin, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. As for that fever, remember that Christ rebuked the great fever in Peter’s house and it left her. He can do the same for your little one, whether the sickness be of body or of soul. Lay hold of this gracious assurance: “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” What more do you need? Pour out your heart in prayer to the Heavenly Physician, and wait upon Him in heedful hearing of His Word, for faith cometh by hearing. The Lord bless you and your child, and grant perfect peace.
