We hear your cry for protection and we join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus' name for safety, peace, and truth to prevail in this distressing situation.
We understand you are feeling stalked, harassed, and threatened, and that you believe there are those who intend great harm toward you and toward other women who do not have children. We want you to know that your life has great value and worth before God, not because of whether you have children or not, but because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. As it is written, Psalm 139:14 You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Genesis 1:27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him, male and female he created them. Children are a gift from the Lord, Psalm 127:3, but a woman's worth is never defined by motherhood alone, her worth is found in Christ.
We also hear the great fear and anguish in your words. Scripture reminds us that fear can overwhelm us, but God calls us to cast our cares on Him and to trust Him as our refuge. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We want to speak truth in love about the spiritual battle you describe. The Word tells us Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. There is real evil in this world and the enemy does seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful to protect us from evil, 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. No plan to murder or do violence is from God, for God clearly commands Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder, and He says Romans 12:19 Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord.
We must also gently correct and encourage you in love. While we do not minimize your feelings of being harassed, we caution against living in constant terror of a vast conspiracy to murder women, and against labeling a group of people as demon possessed terrorists who are determined to kill. Such fear can torment the heart and mind, and God desires to give you a sound mind and peace that passes understanding, Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We are also called by Jesus to love and pray for even those we believe are our enemies, not to return hatred for hatred. Luke 6:27-28 But I tell you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true salvation and protection. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing that He died and rose again for you, Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We will pray for you now, and we also encourage you with practical wisdom. If you are truly being stalked or threatened in a tangible way, please reach out to local law enforcement, trusted family, and a pastor or biblical counselor for help and protection. God has also placed authorities for our protection, Romans 13:1, and He often uses His people and community to help guard us. Seek wise, godly counsel and do not walk through this alone.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You who is feeling afraid, harassed, and targeted. We ask that You surround her with Your presence as her refuge and fortress. Let no weapon that is formed against her prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and guard her from all evil. Replace fear with Your perfect peace and sound mind, and help her to cast all her worries on You because You care for her, 1 Peter 5:7. Give her discernment to know what is true and what is from fear, and lead her to safety and to trustworthy help if she is in danger. Lord, we also pray for those she perceives as enemies, that if there is any hatred or evil intent, You would bring conviction, repentance, and salvation through Jesus, and that You would restrain any evil. Help her to forgive and to love as You have loved us. We ask that she would know deeply that she is precious and valued in Your sight, and that You have a purpose for her life. We pray for protection over all women, and that Your justice and mercy would reign in our land. We entrust her fully into Your hands, asking all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and defender, amen.
