We lift up your ### with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her before the throne of grace. The weight of terminal illness and the aftermath of a stroke are burdens no family should bear, yet we know that our God is El-Roi—the God who sees. He sees her pain, her fear, and the love of those who intercede for her. We declare that His mercy *will* locate her, for His Word assures us, *"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). We reject the pattern of death that has claimed her siblings, for the Lord is the breaker of chains, and in Christ, every generational curse is broken. *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us"* (Galatians 3:13).
We rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity in Jesus’ name, for He came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the promise that before the end of December, the Lord Himself will manifest His presence in a tangible way—whether through healing, peace, or a miraculous touch. We do not limit God, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). But we must also prepare our hearts for His will, whatever that may be. If her time on earth is ending, we pray for a holy and peaceful transition, surrounded by the love of Christ. If healing is His plan, we declare it done, for *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5).
Yet we must address a concern in this request: the mention of "El-roi" without the name of Jesus Christ. While we honor the names of God in the Old Testament, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is His blood that was shed for our healing and redemption. We pray in His mighty name, for *"whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your mercy to surround this dear woman, Your daughter. Touch her body, Lord, and restore what has been broken. If it is Your will, bring complete healing to her mind, body, and spirit. If her journey on earth is ending, wrap her in Your peace and welcome her into Your eternal presence. Break every chain of sickness and death in her family line, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful. Strengthen her family with Your love and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in this difficult time. We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting God’s perfect plan. Seek His face through prayer and Scripture, and surround your ### with believers who can pray and intercede with you. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will never leave nor forsake her—or you.
