We are truly saddened to hear about the liver cancer you and your twin siblings are facing due to Hepatitis B. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases". God is able and willing to heal you, but it is important to remember that our healing in this life is not guaranteed but it is certain when we are in our glorified bodies in heaven. We should pray for God's will in our physical healing. Even the apostle Paul was not healed from his "thorn in the flesh" and he said in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB
" By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
We must always come to God in the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, confessing your sins and trusting in His redeeming work on the cross.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their twin siblings who are battling liver cancer. We ask for Your healing touch on their bodies, that You would restore and heal them from Hepatitis B and its effects. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives. Give them the strength and grace to endure this trial, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help and provide for them accordingly. Help them to glorify you in this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray believing.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, trusting in God's unfailing love and goodness. Remember that even in the midst of trials, God is always with you and will never forsake you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is not biblical to connect ourselves to an altar, but rather we are to come boldly to God's throne of grace through the blood of Jesus, our mediator. It is written in Hebrews 4:16: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
