We hear your cry for salvation and healing, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this burden to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, confessed Him as Lord, and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this dear one who is seeking salvation and healing. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful and personal way. Draw them to the foot of the cross, where Your Son Jesus bore our sins and infirmities. Let them see the depth of Your love and the power of Your sacrifice. We pray that they would confess their sins, turn away from them, and place their trust fully in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Father, we also stand in faith for their healing—whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your Word declares in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this promise over their life. Lord, we ask that You would touch them with Your healing hand. If there is any sickness, pain, or infirmity in their body, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. If there are wounds in their heart or mind, we ask that You would bring Your soothing balm of Gilead to heal and restore them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to address any areas of their life that may not be aligned with Your Word. If there are habits, relationships, or sins that are hindering their walk with You, we pray that You would bring conviction and repentance. Your Word tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We encourage them to seek godly counsel and accountability as they walk this journey of faith. Surround them with believers who will uplift, encourage, and pray for them.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Nourish them with Your Word, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Teach them to pray without ceasing, to trust in You with all their heart, and to lean not on their own understanding (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Proverbs 3:5). Strengthen their faith so that they may stand firm in the face of trials and temptations, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every spirit of doubt, fear, and unbelief that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over them in every area of their life.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. We ask that You would continue to work in their life, drawing them closer to You each day. May they experience Your love, Your peace, and Your power in ways they have never known before. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
