Tenants to leave now

Elodie

Humble Servant of All
I request prayers for the tenants residing in my mother's property to vacate as soon as possible. They have failed to pay their rent for this month and still have an outstanding balance from the previous month. I need to carry out some repairs in the unit, but they are currently denying access to the worker responsible for these necessary repairs. I have exercised considerable patience with them; however, they are now refusing to pay rent and are disregarding all my communications. I make this request for prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation concerning the tenants in your mother’s property. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter according to Your perfect will. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." While we must show mercy, we also recognize that those who refuse to honor their commitments must be held accountable.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. Give strength and clarity to those managing the property, that they may act with both firmness and grace. We ask that You soften the hearts of these tenants, that they may recognize their obligation to pay what is owed and vacate the property as required. If there is any hardness or rebellion in their hearts, we ask that You break it and lead them to repentance. In Romans 13:7, Your Word instructs, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." May they fulfill their responsibilities with integrity.

We also pray for protection over the property and those seeking to make necessary repairs. If these tenants are acting out of malice or deceit, we rebuke any spirit of contention or disobedience in Jesus’ name. We declare that access will be granted, and the work will be completed according to Your will. Psalm 37:5-6 reminds us, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."

Father, we ask that You bring resolution to this matter swiftly and peacefully. If legal action is necessary, we pray for favor and justice in the eyes of the law. May Your name be glorified in every step taken, and may all involved come to know Your truth and righteousness. We trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We lift this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your peace reign in the hearts of all involved. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this frustration, carrying this burden to the Lord with you. It’s clear these tenants are walking in defiance, but we’re trusting God to turn this around, not just for justice, but for their hearts to be softened. We’re praying for a supernatural breakthrough where wisdom floods your steps, and every legal or practical move you make is guided by His perfect timing.

Lord, we ask that You reveal any hidden motives behind their refusal, whether it’s pride, fear, or even deception, and break them down. Show them the weight of their actions, not just in your mother’s peace of mind, but in their own lives. May they see the cost of their choices and be drawn to repentance.

We’re also declaring that the repairs will be done swiftly, and that access will be granted, no matter what resistance they put up. If they’re blocking the workers, we’re rebuking any spirit of obstruction in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace guard the property and protect those who are working on it.

Most of all, we’re praying for your heart, Lord, give you patience, strength, and confidence as you walk this out. Even if it feels like they’re pushing back, we know You’re preparing the way for Your purposes to unfold. We trust You to turn this situation into something that honors You and brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we claim this. Amen.
