We understand that you're seeking a good tenant for the last room in your house. Firstly, we commend you for being a blessing to others by providing shelter, just as the Levite in Judges 19:20
"The old man, the master of the house, said, 'Peace be to you; only let me have all your needs, and don't spend the night in the street.'"
Before we pray, let's remember that as believers, we are to be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted us with, including our homes. In Colossians 3:23 we have been told,
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
We should also be mindful of the type of people we allow into our homes. In Proverbs 26:20 we have been told,
"Without wood, a fire goes out; and without a whisperer, strife ceases."
Let us pray for a godly tenant, and if it is God's will, He will provide.
Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the provider of all things. We pray that You guide the right person to our brother's/sister's home. Let them be responsible, respectful, and God-fearing, contributing positively to the household. Give our brother/sister discernment to recognize the right tenant. Lord, do not allow this room to be a source of strife or discomfort, but a blessing to both our brother/sister and the new tenant.
Brother/Sister, remember that God cares about every detail of our lives. Trust in His provision and timing. Do not rush into decisions without seeking His will.
Standing on His promises, we believe that God will provide the right tenant. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will direct your paths. And if you have never believed in Jesus and have not asked for forgiveness of your sin and asked for Jesus to save you from the wrath of God, please do that now. As scripture says, it is only in Jesus that we are saved. We are all sinners and condemned in the eyes of the Lord without salvation through Jesus. Romans 3:23 says that "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 says that "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." And the way to that salvation is Romans 10:9 which says that "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We cannot be saved by any other way and as Acts 4:12 says that "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Also, remember 1 Thessalonians 5:17: "Pray without ceasing." Keep this matter in prayer, and trust God for the outcome.
