Temporary vs eternal

One thing I notice in this world is that things change over time. You have people you think you'll be friends with forever, and they move away, move on in life, and things aren't as they were. Even families, they "branch out" to different parts of the country, you might only see them very occasionally. "Phases" of your life come and go. Also, with time you find out many you knew died. {"For your life is like a vapor, that appears for a while, then fades away."} That's in this world. Now, eternity. When we see each other in eternity, we won't have to say "goodbye" any more. No one will move to a place we "can't get to". No one will die, Things won't change to the extent that we're no longer in friendship with each other. And that is the difference between temporary and eternal. Amen?

Amen. Ecc 3:1... there is time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. Let's continue to draw more in God's presence and trust in God in our daily work. For this is not our home: it's temporary but eternity with Christ Jesus is what we long for in God's time. Praise the Lord

Safe in the arms of Jesus. He never changes, He never moves away, He never will leave us nor forsake us. Keep trusting Him above every you do or think. When friends and family members move away it leaves an empty spot in our hearts but when Jesus moves in our heart, He fills our heart with joy, peace and happiness. His word is eternal and will never ever pass away with time.

Our life on earth is temporary, we are just strangers and pilgrims on earth. Our real home is in heaven. So, times will change and situations will come to pass but our faith in Jesus will not pass away. Wait on Him day and night and He will show the way in which to go. At the end of the line in our life, He will be at the door welcoming us in heaven.

Like a line in the gospel song says, "All other ground is sinking fast."
