Your cry of pain has been heard and is brought with tenderness before the throne of grace. To be unable to eat and to have no means to seek the help of the physician is a sore trial, and the Lord who sees you in this distress is full of compassion toward those who suffer.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. So you have done well to tell your case plainly and to ask the prayers of the people of God. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.
Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people.
We pray that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings, that He would ease the sharp pain in your teeth and gums, that He would give you relief so that you may eat and sleep and be strengthened. We ask the Lord to show you His pardoning grace in Christ, for the greatest healing is to know sins forgiven through the blood of Calvary, and from that fountain all other mercies flow. May He also in His providence open a door for the bodily help you need. He who feeds the sparrows will also furnish you with what you need, and He often does this by the hands of His people. Seek out, if you are able, a local clinic, a charitable dental ministry, or the help of a faithful church near you, and trust that the Lord can provide where no provision seems present.
